Robin would find that while Jantra is untrained and inexperienced, he had the strength to match his size, and was more agile than an average human though not to an extreme degree. He has a high pain tolerance as well, and can continue fighting even while severly injured. His claws and teeth cannot match a real weapon, but they do mean he's never completely unarmed.

Mountain Camp - Day 11
As the sorcerer goes down, you swiftly follow up by stabbing the splintered end of the spear shaft into his throat almost before he hits the ground. Leaving it there, you look up and see the rapidly approaching rocks. Time seems to slow as you drop down into a crouch and lean to your left. You know, somehow, that you'll dodge three of the projectiles but that the forth is heading straight for you. Without thinking you punch forward just as this rock comes into your reach.
A loud crack brings you back into reality. You open your eyes, though you can't recall that you ever closed them. The rock that was coming for your head lies broken in the snow. You breathe heavily as you look around at the mercs, wondering to yourself just what happened.

"Alright." Anik began. "But I think I need some breaks while telling it. It's not pleasant. And it is kind of confusing."
Thinking, she put the fox away, as she didn't feel like she could tell about her dream and gut it at the same time.
"... It always starts with the voices of my parents. An argument they have, about me. I don't know where I am in relation to them, but they seemingly don't know that I can listen.
It's quite heavy, the argument, and not the first time they have done this. My mother calls me a freak, that I can see, that I'm just faking being blind. That I came to her and asked why she was sad, and I would not know this if I could not see. My father opposes her, saying it is obvious that I am blind. My mother should stop hoping for some kind of miracle. He accuses her of caring too little for me, that she is a terrible mother, that I'm helpless, and she needs to be aware of that.
... then it gets cold, and I ... I need a moment, before I continue. Ask if you don't understand something ..."

Initially, Timea continued her own prep work while listening to Anik speak. After a minute, however, she stopped, pulling her hands back. She then continued listening in silence, a little upset by the story.
"I have no questions", she said once Anik finished speaking. "Take however much time you need."

Anik was quiet for about two minutes after, preparing herself for the more horrible parts of her nightmare.
Finally, she continued:
"Then it is cold. Maybe it is winter, I don't know. I hear footsteps, my mother does come to me. I don't know the feeling in her heart, this confuses me. She talks to me, in a friendly tone of voice, more friendly than she was before:
Come, I found someone who can help you. Maybe she can help you see. I can not provide for you, forever.
I trust her. I lift my arm, feeling for her, and she takes it. And drags me behind her, in a hurry. I wonder where father is, I don't sense him. I ask her where he is. She does not answer. I hear weird noises, like from some animals, insects. The ground feels slippery. I start to click, but my mother puts her hand on my mouth, saying I should not do this, this is not what normal humans do. She has told me that many times before, and I feel helpless when I am with her, because I can't see there. The way gets more slippery, I don't know what is going on, I want to run away, but mother holds my hand too tightly. She drags me along, until I hear another voice, a friendly, female voice, who just welcomes me. I hear other things in the background, I don't know what it is, I have never heard it before
... I can't sense any heart aside from that of my mother."
With that, she stopped again, breathing slowly.

Timea listened to Anik continue to tell her story, wondering where the story was going. When Anik finished speaking, Timea thought it over, a few points being unclear to her. She didn't immediately ask for clarification once Anik finished speaking, letting her catch her breath for about half a minute, first.
"I have one question, now", she stated. "You could not sense your mother's heart before, but could later, when she took you to meet this second person?"

"No, that's not it." Anik answered. "I could always sense her heart, but I did not know the feeling she had before. I have never before sensed something like it. Not even after. I don't know what it is."
She thought for a moment, then added:
"Or did you mean it differently? It's just ... in the dream, the sensation is ... different than the real one. So in the first part, I'm kind of switching positions, like, well, like in a dream, not in a logical way. The voices come from different directions. And I can't really locate them, The sensation of the hearts is more around me than at a particular place, as well.
I don't know if that explanation does make any sense. Can you imagine something with it?"

"Hmm. This does make sense, yes. Dreaming is reliving a memory, and like with all memories, they're not perfect. There are holes in it, which your mind then fills in, in a way that it feels make sense", Timea mused softly, then paused.
"I have no further questions. Please, continue."

"It gets ... really weird, after that. The person I can't sense takes me by the hand, still all friendly, saying she would fix my problem. My mother ... I don't know. Sometimes she still is there for a time, sometimes she just vanishes. Anyways, the woman leads me to a place to sit in, I don't know what kind of chair it is. Then it feels like other hands are wrapping around my arms and legs, so I can't move. ... I don't remember how it was really, but I doubt it felt like hands. Still, I can't move anymore. The woman says I should open my eyes wide, she wants to inspect them. In the dream, I try to shut them, as much as I can, but it does not seem to work, I can't move at all, even though only my arms and legs are restrained. She says, this is not enough, she needs to take a closer look. She can't yet see the demon inside me, my eyes are too hazy. I try to run, to scream, anything, but I can't. I know what happens next. I feel a prick, and it suddenly is dark. And I wake up, finally being able to scream."
Having told this, Anik breathed a sigh of relief. She added shortly after: "I don't know anymore, what of that is the dream and what was real. And I can't remember what happened after."

"Hmm. It sounds to me this is a memory from when you've had your eyes removed", Timea stated after some thought, speaking cautiously. "This feeling of being held down, I think, are the restraints of the seat. And the prick, is whatever implement was used in the start of the procedure.
Does this sound right?"

"Oooookaaaay... you hoomans are strange." Jantra replied, shaking his head. "Let's just hurry up, for all we know Quan might already be in that cell about to do something evil."

"Yes, I think this is right." Anik answered. "It haunts me to this day. Well, I thought I had come over it. But it seems it still does come back. ... I don't want this."
She felt for the fox again, now gutting it.
"I don't want this memory anymore. I ... this was when I last felt my mother. Around this time. I don't know what happened, but like a year later I was in the other city."
