Mountain Camp - Day 11
You sense the focused weaves of an enemy behind you, and you know he is about to attack. You spin on your right heel and lean back as he lets an arrow fly, placing the sorcerer in its path instead of you.

You continue turning and begin charging the archer, hoping to slay him before he can fire again.

"I'm not sure. He seemed serious when he said he wouldn't break."

The archer, not able to ready another arrow, instead waited for Shara to close in with an arrow in hand.

Camp - Day 11
You slash diagonally at the archer as you get close, taking care to not get to close. Your left arm is utterly unresponsive, and the arrow he is carrying could be used as a vicious shiv if he gets past your sword.

OoC: Eight down, six to go. That is if I haven't miscounted. These mercs really ought to stop attacking one at a time.

She shrugged as she added, [color=9f2089]"Can't say. Time flows differently in different dimensions. I'll try to make it quick, but it might take hours, or even days here for me to get back."[/color]

Camp, day 11
The archer jumped back as Shara swung, Dodging her, then rushed forward and tried to shank her in her good arm. A spearman came up from behind, trying to sweep her after the archer's stab, and a swordsman stood by ready to deliver a coup de grace.

"... maybe I should just go look for a forge I could use to repair my armor. I don't think I can help here."

Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:52

"Alright." Anik said, happily. "I guess we can wait around here for a few hours or days. We might change position slightly, but we should always be around Vala.

So ... thank you." With that, she tried to embrace Cybil, to hug her. "I guess we'll see you soon."

Robin nodded, leading Jantra out of the northern sector, into the town proper. Being a military town, it was filled with smiths and craftsmen.

Jantra looked nervously at the different smiths, not approaching any of them.

You spring back with your right foot, spinning 90 degrees as you slash left to right through the archer. In the same motion you keep going, bringing your sword down and turning another 90 degrees to parry the blow from the spearman.

Cybil was just standing outside Quan Chi's cell, leaning against a wall just out of sight of the occupants.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:52

Cybil wasn't immediately sure how to respond to the hug, but eventually decided to just go with it and hugged Anik back.

 

[Silence]

Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:52

Anik kept the hug for a little bit of time, but not too long, then let go. She was quite happy about the hug.
"So ... I don't know how this works, but ... like I said, you will find me around here. I will probably run a little bit, later, but come back here.

You could go check now, unless you have some more questions for me." she said.

Since it was the middle of the night, there would be no smiths working in Vala.

Femesh Daer - Day 12

Yeager would be approached during the day by a guard, who would inform him Vala had been attacked. The guard would then explain the military was requesting Yeager return to the city, in order to help protect it against further assaults.

Yeager tried really hard not to smile as he heard the news, only showing a flicker of one as the guard finished. "I see, I'll head over right avay." he said before turning to a Red Eye that was standing by. "I trust you all can handle things here vhile I'm gone, round up a squad of the newer robots and have them meet me at the gate." The Red Eye nodded and ran inside the factory, at which point Yeager turned back to the guard. "Anything else I should know before I go?"

Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:53

[color=9f2089]"Normally I'd ask more, but I get the feeling that Q&A would be better reserved for later."[/color] Cybil replied as she stepped back. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply in and out for a moment. A hole seemed to tear open in the space behind her, after which she opened her eyes again. [color=9f2089]"I'll try not to take too long."[/color] She commented one last time before stepping into the hole, disappearing as it closed behind her.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 22:53

Another hole in space tore itself open in the same spot several hours later, through which Cybil stepped back out. She was clutching something small in the palm of her right hand as she glanced around, trying to see if Anik had gone very far.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:53

Anik was kind of left confused about what a "Q&A" was, and about where Cybil had gone, but knowing that she should have world-travelled left her not worried, but excited.

She walked back towards Timea, clicking and with a broad smile. "It went very well." she announced.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 22:53

Cybil would see Anik and the other two sleep, not far from where they had met, on the ground. Anik was covered with several scarfs.
Waking her would pose no problem, as she was not snoozing very deeply.

"Yes. The man who led the attack, has been captured. However, he is able to open up holes in the air, which his soldiers used to enter the city." the guard replied. "Additionally, you should know there are some Vesh'Rah diplomats in the northern ward. So, don't be concerned if you see them."

Robin looked to Jantra, noting his nervousness. "Ok. Maybe tomorrow, after you've adjusted a bit more. If anyone troubles you, I'll back you up."

Camp, day 11
Shara's sword slashed the archer, who fell back wounded but not dead. But as she parried the spearman, the sword user jumped in to stab her from above before she could recover. The wounded archer scurried back and knocked another arrow as a man in heavy armour far back started building flame in his hands.
