"Kuku?" Timea questioned, taking on something of a puzzled expression. "Who is that?"

"Calibeth," Timea was quick to answer. "Particularly the southern regions. And, if you have any, the areas surrounding that, too", she added, then paused. "I also have a question. I've heard the world is not entirely explored? Does that mean there is uncharted land, or hasn't any landmasses been found beyond the mainland to the East?"
"*sigh* I'd probably stay in the military. Just in case another war comes up." Jane said.

"Everywhere east of Calibeth is uncharted, at least by humans. The Fennyr know the Fennwynd extremely well, but they're not sharing the information. It's the only thing keeping them free, after all." the man replied, digging through a pile of maps. "And further east is the Whitewood Forest, one of the most dangerous regions in the world. And the trees don't help exploration."
At the answer of the man, Timea leaned back, and moved her right arm from the window frame, bringing the knuckles to her lip. She was quiet for a moment as she thought, than asked, "Who are the Fennyr? And why would they fear for their freedom?" Quickly after this, Timea moved the hand from her mouth, and as an afterthought added, "Which is to say, who would enslave them, and why?"
"The Calibethans. They took over half a continent, led by their so-called-god in mortal form, Calibeth. They would've taken over the rest of the world, but their naval prowess is laughable." the man responded, carrying a folded up map towards Timea. "The Fennyr are the natives of the Fennwynd, a large swamp separating the Calibethan Empire from the Whitewood Forest. Calibeth tried taking it over decades ago, but had to withdraw because of the terrain."
"I can see that. Conflicts beget conflicts after all. My grandfather once said to me that peace is great, but you have to protect peace." She let out a sigh. "Somehow I think I understand a bit more what you're like."
"But what about me? I've asked all about you. Is there a question you'd like to ask me? You know I'm a scientist, I like poofy dresses, I'm sensitive to electromagnetism, and I'm into physics." She said in a very tongue and cheek manner.

"I see... " Timea responded, thinking of how some things never change, then wondering how the Fennyr lived. Her thoughts then turned to the mention of a swamp, where upon she pouted a little. "Umm... what is a swamp, exactly?" she asked a little awkwardly, though holding out her hand to take the map.

Being handed the map, Timea took hold of it with her other hand as well, and folded it open, looking over what was shown on it attentively. "I see", Timea responded, giving a single small nod as she looked the map over. She then briefly looked up from it to ask, "And the Whitewood, can you tell me anything about that area? Why it's so dangerous, for instance?"
"The elves have some kind of feud or civil war or something going on. Plus all the wild animals." the man explained.
As Timea looked over the map, she would see that southern Calibeth covered what was likely a considerable amount of land. In the east, on the coast, was the city of Palladein. West of that, closer to the centre of the region, was an area marked as 'Calibeth City'.

As the group on the Black Guard ship talked among themselves, a ship would become visible in the distance. It was heading on a course to intercept the mercenary ship. As it got closer, EMily may detect electrical activity surrounding the other ship. Any group members with good eyesight, who were looking at the other ship, might notice a figure standing on the top of their central mast, with their arms raised up high.
