Montreal Portal Station, Early Afternoon
A hole in reality tore itself open in the chamber where Blue was hosting her portal, opening a short distance from said portal. Three figures stepped out of the hole, after which it quickly sealed itself back up.
"About time. Getting authorization for this took way too damn long." Said the first, a fairly short feminine figure wearing brown slacks, a loose-fitting grey turtleneck sweater with a lab coat over it, and brown dress shoes. She had short black hair and a pair of rounded ear atop her head, covered in black fur, and blue eyes.
"Why's that--" The tallest of the trio began to ask. Another feminine figure, she wore black slacks and a simple, white, button-up dress shirt with the top buttons left undone and the sleeves rolled up. She wore a black of black dress shoes, and had a sword scabbard tied to the back of her black leather belt. She had longer brown hair that was tied into a ponytail near the base of her head that was tucked into the back of her shirt. Atop her head were a set of pointed ears covered in black fur, and her eyes were green.
The shortest of the pair interrupted the tallest. In stark contrast to their peers, this one was covered head to toe in lusterless, grey-colored metal armor plates. The armor looked similar to medieval plate armor, apart from the helmet, which seemed to have no openings whatsoever, apart from a small series of slits near the base of the neck, and had two sharp protrusions pointing out near the scalp of the head. The voice sounded like it was being run through a speaker system, and had a tinny quality to it.
The taller one shot the smallest an annoyed glare, to which the smallest simply responded with a shrug.
"Can I get five minutes to actually figure that out, or are you idiots gonna keep asking dumb questions?" The middle sized figure barked back at the other two. She made a pair of right angles with the pointer and thumb fingers of both of their hands, then touched the points of each pointer to the opposite thumb, making a rectangle shape that she looked through at the portal. A semi-transparent blue light formed in the rectangle. She pulled her hands away from each other and the blue light expanded to keep her hands as its corners, turning into a large, flat, blue rectangle. The shape remaining as she took her hands away, and she began tapping at it with her right hand. The light responded and opened a white colored square with black writing on its surface, looking like a text box on a computer screen. She continued doing her business while the other two stood by and inspected the room, staying clear of the portal.
