Hello everyone! Xero says I can join in on the fun. Please feel free to contact me for anything related to Mei.

Mei Feng leaned against her knees in the corruptor seat. "God... I feel sick." She covered her mouth and swore vulgarly in chinese. "Nobody visited. Never a good sign. Even getting down here was a pain." She looked down at her two little brass golems. One of which carried her cane and the other a glass of water. She picked up the glass and downed it. "Thanks, Copper. Thanks, Zinc." She brushed the water off her dress and looked up. "Since I'm here, I might as well have a little fun. Let's who the contestants are... That Cory's quite a cutie out there," She grabbed into her sleeve and pulled out her bronze card. "Hot head!" She took in a deep breath and exhaled sending out a fire ball at Damien's feet, making sure to miss by a half a foot. She then held out her card to the vender. "Oi! Disposable magic! Augment! Strengthen! Now! I'll pay 50." She snagged the capsule, pointed it at Cory and squeezed. It didn't break open. She squeezed again to the same effect. "Here you go, Copper." She handed it to the Mini-golem who broke open the capsule with ease and watched the spell fly. She looked down at Zinc and Copper once more, apparently losing interest for a second, "I hope the Manga club wasn't upset about me quitting, they did enjoy having me around."

The battle was descending into new levels of lunacy now but surprisingly James no longer even seemed to be watching anymore. He had soured on the idea of using any of his own spells and he thought using disposable magic would make him look like even more of a joke than he already was. So that left James amusing himself by other means, he tossed one coin into the air and caught it again and again before growing tired of that and getting out multiple coins and attempting to juggle them which didn't end well. After that he produced a length of string and tied it into complex knots before making it "vanish" into his sleeves.

James kept rifling through his pockets but few of the things they contained amused him for long so he eventually went back to shuffling cards, turning his eyes back to the fight.

"I can't tell what's going on anymore, probably shouldn't have zoned out eh? Then again I probably shouldn't talk to myself either but I still do that!" James chuckled and lounged back in his seat, he was passed caring which way the battle went at this point.

This was getting way out of hand now. The fight in the ring was going from a battle of martial arts to one of bare-knuckled insanity, the number of people Kelsey had to stop from getting themselves put on Katie's hit-list was increasing. A major reason for not going against Katie now was because of how numerous her followers were, but if Damien's supporters were just as numerous how in the hell was she supposed to do anything about them?

Nothing. She could do absolutely nothing. She couldn't even keep up with Damien and Cory's movements. She was entirely certain one of them would be dead before the end.

A bright flash caught her attention, as it did for a number of the other Corrupters. Holy sh-! Did someone just throw a fireball in there!? No, okay, this was definitely out of her league. Luckily the only damage was a blackened scorch mark on the inner surface of the ring, but freaking hell there was no way that fireball was a legal spell. It was a bad idea to even stick around if people were going to start using spells like that.

In fact, yep, Kelsey was out of here. Staying here had gotten more than dangerous enough for her to make any perceived benefits completely null. She couldn't even remember what the benefits were in the face of fire-throwing and her tutors kicking the ever-loving crap out of one another. She needed to be as far away as possible. She clasped her plate between her hands and placed it against her stomach.

"Magic in." The plate dissolved into her once again, this time producing waves from the bottom of her feet to the tip of her hat until she evaporated into a vaguely-Kelsey-shaped smoke. Not satisfied with intangibility, she slowly seeped down through the cracks in floor.

I was under the impression that Cory and Damien would have done a lot of these 'fight for charity' type things with Corrupters and such before, possibly because of something you've written before, but apparently that is not the case. I've fixed that in my other post.

Also, where's that subplot you wanted to send to me? I was looking forward to it but never received anything. Or am I addressing the wrong person?
Yeh, don't worry, you're not mistaken. Unless you were thinking about ThreeWords and all the subplot he promised you too. The subplot I'm thinking up is just staying on the back burner for a bit. I figured we could go through a bit of character development with everyone first. Let people establish themselves, allow some free-flowing interaction between characters to occur, set a status quo, etcetera. You know, regular stuff. It's not as though we don't have enough time for all this stuff. When I feel like it's a good time, I'll let you know all the details.

Oh, and anyone can use these spells, even without the ability to use magic. The magic the vendor is selling is basically small capsules you aim and break open. The spell's all ready to go without extra effort. I basically put it in there since I haven't allowed Korten to activate Mo... Yet.
I assumed as much, but Kelsey has yet to fully learn what the Mo plate is or how it works. She thinks that Gavren doesn't like to use magic, as opposed to being entirely unable to use it, and Gavren seems as though he doesn't know he would be able to use such one-shot spells. So yeh, IC/OOC knowledge split is my explanation there.

While I'm on an OOC speech... Courtney Dantoin and Cory Dicanio or Claudia Dantoin and Cory Schultz? Names have changed, or names and general descriptions are so similar that they're confusing. Which is it? o~o

Mother******! I knew I screwed up. Sorry, I was stupid enough to reuse these names from a previous RP. I realized my mistake just before reading your post. Fixing...

Mei giggled and leaned back, fully aware of the others in the corruptor seats staring at her she gave them an impish smile.

"What? I didn't hit either of them, so what's the harm in making them dance a little for little ol' me. Plus I've never been the type of gal to make a grand appearance. I'm simply too cute to pass it up."

She snapped her fingers at her two golems and raised her legs as Copper moved up down to hold her feet up and Zinc went to refill the glass of water. "Two muscular men fighting for the crowds attention, huh? All that's needed is for them to take their shirts off and we'll have our own gladiator match..." Mei paused introspectively and stared intently at the two fighters. "Not a bad idea... How would I get that to work?"

Sofia's eyes widened as the conflict went from crazy to totally freaking insane. Any semblance of rules this fight had had were thrown right out the window as the two fighters started whaling on each other with everything they had. Swarms of bats and even a fireball came flying into the ring from behind her which definitely caught her by surprise. Apparently not even Kelsey could stop all of the Corrupters at once. And then she noticed that Kelsey was gone! Sofia didn't remember seeing her leave, so maybe she had vanished into thin air?

Wait! This is my chance! With Kelsey gone I doubt anyone else will try to stop me from helping Damien! Sofia thought as she dug out her plate once more. When she found it and looked up though, she noticed something that she hadn't before. Despite the brutal beatdowns both sides were taking, the two seemed to be having... fun? Sofia didn't get what could be fun about this, but she felt like any more interference would just ruin it for them. "Huh... I guess boys will be boys then?" She said with a shrug as she put her plate away and sat back to watch the rest of the fight.

Edgar sat down at his seat and jumped at the random fireball and looked to see who fired it. When he wasn't looking Kelsey had disappeared too. Edgar raised his eyebrow at this women and asked rudely, "And who might you be miss?"

Mei turned to the questioner, still giggling at her thoughts, taking "If you don't know that means you're a freshmen, no? Mei Feng, sophomore, Bronze card, Summoning/Synthetics/Visual magic expert. Pleased to make your acquaintance." She held up the card in two fingers as if proving it. At that moment a foot tall brass statue lumbered to her side, carrying a glass of water, she took it from the statue "Thanks, darling, I needed that." And with that she downed the glass of water again. "That reminds me. These are my two brass golems, Copper", indicating to the golem holding up her feet like a foot rest, "and Zinc." indicating the one holding the now empty glass. "Aren't they just adorable?" She brushed off the shoulders of her red dress, she turned to him, "I've got to tell you, having servants that can't talk back is awesome. It can get kind of lonely though. Enough about me, who are you?" she returned his rudeness with an out of place tone. As if there was some very, very subtle joke in what she had said.

Edgar listened to Mei speak and introduced himself, "Edgar Galloway. Nothing interesting to add yet." He put strong emphasis on the "yet" and smirked. He glanced at the two golems, "I assume those can do other things besides give you drinks right?"

Mei looked indignantly at him, "Of course they can! Each of them can lift about 220 pounds and looks like a gunbuster! Sooo cool." She pulled her legs back and the Copper resumed his at the ready position. "They also do pretty much all physical activities that I can't."
Copper and Zinc looked to each other and grasped each other's shoulders as their and rumbled out a clumsy speech "Which pretty much entails anything remotely requiring strength."
She looked down at them, giving them an annoyed stare. "Don't make me kill the speech magic." They stared back, she cleared her throat, "Let me rephrase that. Servants that can't talk back if they're not touching. Copper. Hand me my cane. I need to clear up some things." Copper lumbered over and picked up the the ornate white and grey cane and handed it to her. She gripped it with her white gloved hand. "If you'd like to come with you're welcome, or you can have my seat." and with that she lifted herself up with the cane and began to slowly walk towards the exit of the arena.

Edgar pondered for a moment. Whatever I think I can guess how this fight ends regardless. Edgar got up out of his seat and walked with Mei.

Name: Mei Feng
Gender: Female
Age/Grade:17 Sophomore
Plate Level: Bronze
Favorite Magics: (Mei favours illusionary and summoning magics)
Hot head: Mei alters her breath to make it Kerosene allowing her to ignite it at will.

Glamour: Mei uses minor illusionary magic to make herself far more attractive than she normally does. (She namely uses this to harass people.)

Legion of the Gunbuster: Mei summons two one-foot tall brass golems to do her work. Each golem can carry around 100kg worth of things without encumbrance. They look like little Gunbusters, each golem is summoned from a brass orb she carries around with her.

Appearance: Mei is a Chinese pretty girl. She's 5'2", incredibly petite with long straight black hair. She has gorgeous deep blue eyes but tends to keep them mostly shut. She is physically very weak and requires assistance in pretty much every form of physical activities and needs a cane to walk. She's very sensitive about her weight (which is completely unfounded) and bust size (which is not so unfounded as she's completely flat).

When she goes out she wears an elaborate blood red dress with gold designs all over it, that goes down to her knees. In addition to her dress she's often seen wearing pair of pure white elbow length gloves that match the designs of her dress. Her cane is an elaborate combination of white and grey designs with a gold handle.

Background: Contrasting how Mei looks, She's as sharp tongued and devious as they come. Always incredibly precocious and looking for ways to get her way even as a child, at the age of 10 she had surpassed all schooling her private academy could provide for her, and literally back sassed her way into an expulsion. It wasn't as though she needed the schooling but she got very bored of staying at home. Her father divorced her mother shortly after she was expelled and became obsessed with his work. Her mother visited every so often for the first year but stopped almost immediately after that. Mei was alone for several years left to care of herself, for no one else lived in the house.

During these times up until her admittance into Cascade high, she became obsessed with a certain manga, reading and re-reading it over and over, hardly leaving her room, It was at this time when she began to become anemic. She over came most of it but still suffers from bouts of it on occasion.

When she was recruited by Cascade high. Acing all aspects of the exam and interview and even taking one of the interviewers home with her for dinner and aid in preparation for her new school. She did excellently during her first year, and was well liked. She quickly got into the social scene and made many friends, friends that could make her happy. This turned out to be a bad idea for someone who used to be as reclusive as she did, as she became addicted to affection. It became quite clear when she had gotten sick over break. A simple cold, but no one came to visit her. Mei grew sicker only to be saved by a classmate who came to bring her pamphlets because she'd missed the first day of class. Mei regards that classmate as her savior and will do anything for him.

Relationships: Open

Mei stood at the top and leaned on her cane and gasped for breathe as she swore profusely in chinese. "Too many stairs in this place. If only Brass Queen worked like it should, then I wouldn't be so exhausted. Oh well, no use complaining if spell don't work. Let's see, if I remember correctly... The nursing club's booth was back there... I need to check in with Gale. Which reminds me have you joined a club yet... What was it? It was an e name... Oh right. Edgar. Have you joined any clubs? If you haven't, you really ought to let big sister Mei help you out." She leaned against her cane and smiled boldly at him.

Edgar looked up at Mei at the top of the stairs, "No I haven't checked into any clubs to be honest." Edgar reached the tops of the stairs with Mei and continued, "Any recommendations you have for me?"

James happened to glance to the side at the right moment to spot Edgar and Mei leaving the arena, at first he just assumed fighting wasn't their idea of amusement but then he recognised Edgar as the one who had the piece of paper in his pocket.James glanced back at the fight where he had completely lost track and any interest in what was going on. It was an easy decision to try and solve the mystery of the paper and James' couldn't rest without at least attempting to learn its contents. In a fluid motion he straightened his deck of cards, put them in his pocket and rose from his seat.

He carefully adjusted the angle of his hat, took off his sunglasses and put on what he hoped was an expression of sombre determination on his face before marching up to the bottom of the stairs before calling out to Edgar.

"Excuse me sir," James paused to slowly put on his sunglasses, "You might recognise me from earlier, I'm here in relation to the piece of paper that ended up in your possession earlier today. It's absolutely vital for um...security reasons that I see the contents of that paper." James could have just walked up and asked to know what was on the paper but he was instead caught up in yet another riddiculous and unconvincing act, finding that a far more amusing strategy.

Edgar barely suppressed laughter in the manner he was asked. What kind of act is that?Though he hardly felt it was reasonable question to ask a stranger, he felt it feet to respond to his query. "Piece of paper? Oh yeah...I ripped it up and threw it away." He answered honestly, eyebrows raised wondering why this guy cares what was on that paper.

Mei turned, "Sorry, Edgar. I zoned out for a second. Personally I'd recommend the... " She turned to the newcomer and gave a sweet smile down to him, "Security reasons? No security needed here. He's under the watch of the Brass queen. I will take personal responsibility to see nothing goes wrong. Unless you feel like challenging me?" She held out her bronze card. "Something I wouldn't feel completely opposed to that. I've been meaning to try out some new spells. Unless you're a freshman. Then that'd be no fun. Also I think that you look rather ridiculous, no offense. If try to be that dramatic you don't want to draw away from your face. The face is the best place for displaying emotions. Why do you think I'm so gorgeous?" She brushed back her hair in a ridiculous manner, making it obvious her arrogance was purely mock behavior.

She turned stepped away from the stairs and continued to speak to Edgar. "As for clubs, I think you look like a..." she leaned in to uncomfortable distance, their noses bumping. "Astronomy club... or maybe a society club?" Her eyes were still slits but Edgar could see the deep blue in her iris'. She withdrew her face, smiling. "That's just my opinion. Feel free to disagree, if you don't think it'd work."

"What in the devil? Brass Queen? Not the best of titles if you ask me but that's hardly the point. Here I am trying to learn the contents of a pointless piece of paper and I'm challenged to a duel. I mean fair enough now would be the best time for a duel seeing as the only member of MEC is currently busy but still that's just plain rude. And what's this about criticising my acting eh? Everyone knows sunglasses make things twice as cool." At this point James had lost track of any coherent thoughts and had just embarked on the crazy rambling he was well known for at his old school.

"Then you have the nerve to say I look ridiculous!" James pulled his sunglasses off and waved them around, do you have any idea how much these cost!? Actually I don't either because they were given to me as a gift." James put his sunglasses back on and rolled his sleeves back revealing the multitude of watches along his arms. "Plus I have all these watches too so when people ask me if I have the time I give them a whole list of different times and I've got this mad hat I found on sale for ten dollars and back in my dorm there's this really old coat that's been in my family for generations!" James no longer even knew what he was talking about anymore, he'd just gotten to the point of listing random possessions he had.

Next he started digging around in his pockets, showing off the bizarre things he found in there. "Here's a heap of pens, a glow in the dark die, a deck of cards, a piece of string and... oh look here's an old coin!" James held the coin in his right hand and carefully pretended he passed it to his left hand while keeping it in his right hand the whole time. He held out both clenched fists with a grin on his face.

"Which hand is the coin in?" James had gone from hunting the contents of a piece of paper to listing his possessions and had ended up hiding coins, apparently his boredom was really getting to him.

Mei sighed, "You're a touchy one aren't you. Since you clearly aren't a sophomore, I'll explain somethings to you. Firstly. I call myself the Brass queen because most of my magic centers around brass, for instance, Copper and Zinc." She indicated to her servants, "Secondly, I couldn't duel you even if I wanted to as I need the principal's permission and then I'd need to sign a ton of forms saying I don't hold the opposing party responsible if I die. And as I am still recovering from anemia that'd be right out of the question. Thirdly, I need to get to the Nursing club. So, Right hand. Goodbye, let's go Edgar."

Will sidled up, doing his best not to grin. "Brass queen? Dueling? Sounds fun..." he turned to Edgar, and allowed himself to smirk a little more, "Are you just going to be ordered around?"

To James, he murmured, "I hear there is foul play involving notes and falling books. You ought to be on your guard"

It was difficult for Kelsey to get her bearings at first... Everything looked the same under the floor. Just pipes, dust and darkness... It was obvious that she hadn't thought this particular escape plan through. Still, she had paid the magic points now so all there was to do was go with it. Her smoke-rendered form floated in a direction, following a single bundle of pipes. Every time she found a crack in the 'ceiling' she would glance out to try navigate her way to the door, sometimes getting nothing more than the underside of a chair and other times being smack bang in the centre of the corridor.

Finally she was able to get close enough to the door. She quickly forced herself out of the floor and out of the door, hoping that she had been quick enough to not be seen. She was such a no-one that she wouldn't be recognised anyway.

She slowly drifted along the corridor after getting a fair way from the secondary gym. She wasn't 100% sure about the directions back to the library from here though, so she thought it would be best to follow one side of the wall until she found a place she recognised... She enacted her plan immediately, making sure to stay clear of people who might recognise her.
