What "final boss," or "final battle," do you hate the most?

Rogue Galaxy. You had to fight in sections playing as all of your characters one at a time, who you'll probably not be trained with, since you're used to using Jaster, and when you do become Jaster, he's slow as hell and it just becomes a 'attack, attack, jump, heal, attack, attack, jump, heal' process.

Otherwise, a decent game.

Just thought of, not an annoying boss, but an annoying part of a boss fight. Eternal Darkness, the moment when you first realise that the ghosts of the past are there to help is one of those 'OMG lump in the throat', gaming moments only ruined when you have to run around as that useless lardass Max Roivas (it is OK once you get used to it, but he is so slow) The music is great in that fight though.....
For anyone who fancies a bit of nostalgia

Wolfand:Alpha-152 at the end of DOA4, she's so fucking hard, and almost makes me hate the game.
Yuki: The CyberDemon at the end of DOOM3, i mean, the rest of the game was such a good build up....then that...it was such a dissapointment

First boss in Silent Hill 3. If you don't have handgun ammo and/or extra save - your fucked and you have to start the game from the start. If you have ammo, then the boss dies in 10 seconds.

Dr. Nefarious at the end of ratchet and clank 3.
He's just so ridiculously hard that it makes me not want to play the game over again because I know he's waiting for me at the end.

Everything is leading up to me! "Oooh be scared!"

1 shot. Dead.

What the Fu-
Yeah, but I think Fallout 3 classifies more under final battle than final boss.

fighting against saren was a bit frustrating. I beat him on the first try but it was long and he followed a boring pattern.
And the final battles from dead or alive 4 story mode. they made me throw the game in some dusty corner of the room.

Metroid Prime in......Metroid Prime.

The fight with Prime was fine. But then you have to fight the Prime Core, which is just annoying. It's one of those bosses where you are given a super-mega weapon to damage the boss. That alone is disappointing and annoying. The boss also has pretty much one attack; an incredibly slow wave-of-doom that can be avoided by......jumping. Talk about lame. You also have to keep switching your visors during the fight, which is also pointless and annoying. Also, the Core spawns metroids. A boss spawning enemies is annoying in general, but when these enemies can latch on to you and prevent you from doing anything (like jumping to avoid the stupid doom wave), it takes the frustration to a whole new level.
I'm the same, but the other part. The Exo gave me more trouble than the core (which I mauled in about 5 minutes). It took me quite a few tries to get him to the point where he was even close to dying. Everyone I talked to about it kept saying he was easy, that the core was the problem bit, but I didn't see it. I finally whupped him, but just from sheer frustration (almost broke a 'cube controller) did I hate that fight.

Oh I agree. The core is ridiculously easy once you know how to beat it. It's just that the first time I fought it I had low health from the exo fight, and I wasn't prepared for the stupid Metroid spawns. The second time the power went our right when I was about to beat it. The third time I was able to wipe the floor with it.

I liked the exo fight. It was fun and challenging and felt like an appropriate final boss. Which just makes it worse when the core comes along and sours the whole experience.

That is one thing about the Prime games--(most) boss fights are appropriately challenging. And wow, that power outage would have made me go absolutely bonkers and blitz out. I actually liked when it spawned Metroids, because a quick Super Bomb drop and I had more health again. The only hard part of the Core was figuring out which visor to use, but even then, after a few seconds you learn the pattern. And while I agree that the core wasn't the most optimal of bosses, it did at least make sense to go from the Exo to the core, demolishing the damn thing with Phazon-infused awesomeness (which I do feel would have been too awkward to put into the Exo fight).

Lord Lucien from fable 2 because it didn't ever really happen and you just clicked a button to pull out that music box and then it was a cut scene. At least Fable 1 had a boss fight if not an extremely repetitive time consuming boss fight, but it was still a boss fight, DAMN IT

Dead Rising's final boss. Not only is it frustrating and tedious, but it doesn't make sense. How is a photojournalist supposed beat a veteran special ops commander in hand to hand combat?

Fucking Cackletta's spirit in Bowser's stomach. I didn't really have many healing items, or 1-ups, so I was pretty much fucked.
