Goldeneye! The first time we played it, my friends and I sat down, fired it up, and played an entire round of multiplayer in absolute silence. When it ended, we all just started laughing about how unbelievable it was. In my mind, that game is 100% good times.

Absolutely definately Fallout 3.

I'd put another 150 hours into it.

I've never had so many good times in a game as in F3, the joy of exploring and discovering and soaking up the fatastic atmosphere.

Dead Space. But I'd want to play it in the dead of night, lights off, hopped up on cans upon cans of Mountain Dew.
what? lol. the only time that game got me scared was when i played 30 mins without saving and it froze for a few seconds and i thought it was going to crash.

There are loads of games I wish I could see again with new eyes, The Secret of Monkey Island and Morrowind especially come to mind, the former for the top-notch script and the brilliant puzzles, and the latter just for the joy to explore this world again from the very beginning - then again, it occurs to me that even though I've logged more than 150 hours of gameplay in that game, there're plenty of places on Vaardenfell that I've yet to explore!

If I had to pick one, I'd say Silent Hill... just because the feeling of uncertainty, helplessness, despair and horror I felt while playing the first game were etched on my mind and I've never been able to find that again. And, while technically not a game but rather, a part of one, I'd love to revisit the Ocean View Hotel part of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines; one of the most genuinely scary and exhilarating gaming experiences I've ever had.

Nor was I, but imagine the startle factor when you've got loads of sugar and caffeine running through your blood XD

Half Life 2 and subsequent episodes, just to know how it would feel to play this new "videro game" and first thing I see is G-man. That probably would give me willies.

Super Mario Glaxy

Although I generally prefer more violent games like CoD4 and left 4 dead, this game is my personal best game of all time, because it managed to truly innovate the platform genre, by evolving the very concept of level design in ways no one thought possible, and you could honestly never predict what was coming next.

Now, you might say that mario 64 did the same thing, but aside from being in 3-D, there was no real innovation. You could predict the levels so easily, it wasn't even funny. Lava level? Check. Underwater level? Check. Ice level? Yawn....

Galaxy had some of these same level ideas, but managed to reinvent them. How often have you seen a fire level and an ice level combined into one? In the aforementioned underwater level, just when you are starting to get bored, you are launched onto a giant twisting stone pathway in the sky, defying gravity every step of the way. And one later level has platforms disappearing from reality and back, forcing you to rethink your hardwired gamre senses in order to get through.

When I first got Galaxy, I was in constant anticipation, wondering what would come next, and if I could relive each of the amazingly creative levels anew each day, I would be very happy. Right now the best I can do is buy Galaxy 2 for another "hit" of innovation.

The entire Monkey Island series. I've beaten them so many times, that I know how to solve each puzzle in the least amount of time possible. I've powerplayed Secret to Escape in one sitting.

MOOOOOOONKEEEEEYYYYY COOMMMMBAAAAAAT!

What this comes down to for me is playing a game again for the first time because of story or because of the amazed feeling you have when you play those games that really click for you.

as for story i would love to play Bioshock and GTA 4 again cuz played without volume and missed the stories for both
as for the amazing game it would have to be Prince of Persia: sands of time from the first trailers I saw of it I new i needed it and it is maybe my favorite game of all time

Mine would have to be Silent Hill 2. I would love to relive that moment when I finally realized why everything is happening.
