I've learned a bit from life and I'm only 21.
Having been through a pretty serious accident that could have and should have killed me,
I've learned that the general populous is shit unless they prove otherwise.
Friends come and go as easy as romantic interests: nothing lasts forever.
Generally, people gauge their own lives on what they've been through to determine as to whether it is sub-par to them or not.
So it's difficult for people to understand what I'd been through (as horrifying to me as it was) just like it's difficult for me to feel the pain of what others around the world have been through if it is far worse than my scenario.
What it comes down to is that it doesn't seem you can be too happy before something falls through. You're kept in check in that once shit gets too good and you're 100% happy something will eventually take a turn for the worse.
