I played the dark sector demo, and after the first hour and a half, I left the boss fight because there were no indications as to how I was supposed to kill the damn thing! I didn't die once, but after over an hour, it still was standing and I had only chipped away half its health (I think, there was no boss health bar).

Back on topic though I just finished TFU 2 and besides being incredibly short. There were 2 bosses in particular, a giant monster that was probably the length of a professional stadium, the second was Vader. It seemed like those two boss battles could have had levels unto their own.

The first boss in Lost Odyssey, what the. I didn't get much farther than that, but I imagine it only gets worse. Also, difficult.

The full battle with Liquid Snake (from Metal Gear -> Jeep Escape) was pretty damn long. Especially since you couldn't skip his litany atop the smoldering ruins of Rex.

Fighting against Kuja was also a long, long battle at the end of FFIX. OH and the final boss of Castle Crashers didn't want to die...ever. Same with G at the end of the Scott Pilgrim game.

Dullhan. Once I figured out a really easy way to finish him off, it was easy. Until then, it was so FRUSTRATING. He can nearly wipe out your party in a turn, ARRRRGHH.
