Yiazmat, the final Hunt from Final Fantasy XII. That monster has 50,000,000 HP; I fought it for just over 10 hours, had it down to roughly 500,000 HP, and it ended up killing me anyway.

omega weapon from FF8, 10 attempts of him insta killing me with lvl? death as his opening gambit i caught a break and one of my characters survived. it took me about 2 hours to chizzle away at his 1.6 million hp!

Having a co-op partner makes killing that thing ten times easier. They really should have made the campaign co-op as well, I don't know why they don't.Mr Companion said:

When I fought Bathandelus for the second time in Final Fantasy XIII, if we're talking about the individual fight. It took me 20 minutes the first time, which seemed a lot longer than it actually was because I spent half the fight in the Solidarity (Sentinel, Medic and Commando) paradigm. I still lost. I know it took me 20 minutes because, at that point, he casts Doom on you. Then I went back with a Synergist and beat it in 10 minutes.

Malak at the end of KoToR. I had simply not equipped myself at all well to fight him one on one, and eventually the battle descended into a ridiculous chase sequence where I would hit him with lighting then he would chase me around the room while my force regenerated and then I would hit him with lighting again and repeat.
Spyro: A Heroes' Tail... I still haven't completed the bossfight, even though i started playing it 2 years ago...
