I paid $2 for Fellowship of the Ring on PS2 at a used game store because I wanted to own all 3 games. I wish I could get my $2 back, that game is terrible

Pointless as I can't beat your price, but still to throw 2 underrated gems into the ring:

Tyrian + Incubation, both for 2 Euros each.

I paid three pounds for Resident evil 3. Although the true record for buying the cheapest game in my family goes to my brother, who paid 30 pence for Fifa 2004.

I bought Fallout 1+2 at a KMart store closing sale for five dollars. Best five dollars I ever spent.

$5 for the PC version of Devil May Cry 3. Strange that the best game I've ever bought is also the cheapest.

I was head of games at a store, but the manager had no times for games, so I rarely got any hours allocated to actually do my job, leaving the area looking shoddy, and with things we all see, like (at the time) FIFA 2004 priced up at £39.99 in the chart next to FIFA 2007, the new release.

Eventually we must have showed up on the head office radar, as I was told I was being given two weeks dedicated to the section 'to sort that shit out' (charming).

The bonus being, none of the price changes had been done since we had opened 4 years ago, meaning games had dropped from £40 to 20, to £10, and then...when even 75% hadn't worked, the head office computers just dropped them to either 49p or 1p to get them off the system's databases.

Now most of the staff didn't give a damn about games, and were always calling on me to explain what an X Box was, and how it differed to a game boy. So I explained to the boss, about all the cheap stuff, and he said, buy it yourself if you like, so I told the couple of people who played games, let em choose a few , then bought the rest, 2 bagfuls of games for under a tenner! I remember my till reciept said 'Total before discount - £780' or something close.

So, a pile of games for 1p each, that's my bargain of the century.

I got both neverwinter nights +2 expansion packs and baulder's gate+expansion pack for £3 in a jumble sale, so that comes to about 60p as the cheapest.

Half Life 1 for 99 cents on Steam. I also got Stalker:Shadow of Chernobyl for 3 dollars at a used bookstore near my place once.

Oh and a fully working boxed Dreamcast for 99p :D

I saw it in the faulty section and figured the controllers alone had to be worth a quid, so restored it to normal stock and bought it :D Did the same thing to a bunch more games, a steering wheel and a bunch of other stuff, spent about a week just leaving work each night with bags of stuff and a handful of copper coins lighter :D

The crazy thing being, I was helping, by clearing old stock, freeing up the database, and making room in the stockroom, and removing expired faulty goods that could not be returned to sender.

I bought a second hand copy of Max Payne on Xbox for $5(AUS) earlier this year, five dollars well spent in my opinion.
