I don't know, to each his own I geuss. If I wanted to jugde someone I'd do it by skin color, not by hair length.*

Just kidding.
I lol'ed. I lol'ed hard.

Also, on topic, guys with long hair don't get any flak if they also have beards. Just something I've noticed.

The hair length differs from person to person for me. Some people it looks fine, others I just want to mock because they really don't look right. One big critism I have is guys with long hair who do it just so they can have ponytails. The male ponytail just for the sake of having one has always bugged me because I really don't think it looks good. You're not a several century old scottish warrior, you're not not a special agent who needs to keep his bangs under control, you can try some actual style!

By the way, I just can't get long hair because mine goes curly after a certain length so I'd look like Magnum PI and MacGuyver's love child.

I used to have fairly long hair in high school, and the girls were all over me. I have since cut it and now, not much I can tell you. A few months ago I had a morrisey quiff which some people used to hate on (don't know why it was awesome) but now it's getting shaggy again (also in the process of growing a beard!). Really, I don't give a shit. Whenever you get abuse it is because what you present to that person does not fit in with their idea of the generic, the average, or the normal, so it is threatening or worrying for them. Fuck em' is what I say.

We have our own rights, so if people have a problem with long hair, they can keep their mouths shut, but of course we also have the right to protest...

I don't really care if a guy has longer hair, but letting it grow past the shoulders is just goofy looking and a turn off IMO.

Also, not all guys can pull off longer hair. For example:
My oldest brother, has shoulder length hair and he looks like pure shit. His hair is all gray, at least the hair he has left. The long hair just emphasizes his baldness.

Kurt Cobain looked good with shoulder length hair. He was able to pull it off well.

Hah, reminds me of a quote from William of Malmesbury in the twelfth century. He was outraged when Norman knights started adopting the English tradition of wearing their hair long.

Can't remember the exact words, but it goes something like "If a man has long hair it is a shame unto him." I'm such a geek.

Up until the 1900's most men had long hair since the Romans. In the 60's-80's guys frequently had long hair, short hair is just "in fashion" right now.

I don't care personally, each to their own. It doesn't suit me however.
Dont worry miss read it sorry.

I don't see any problem with it at all.
I, personally, love long hair. My hair is a little past my shoulders. My mom hates it and says I'll get no where in life with my hair like this, but I don't care.

I have long hair and live in the North West of the UK. I do occaisionaly get comments thrown about, occaisionaly friends joking that I look like a poodle/spaniel and occaisionaly chavs with such highly intelligent insults as "You ever worked at Woolworths?" (in case you didn't guess my hair is curly). Best tactic is to either ignore them or come back with an insult that'll confuse them for a while, they're chavs, it's not that hard.

I don't like it personally, looks messy and unpractical, but I don't really have a problem with other people having it. Hell loads of my friends have long hair, mind you those are all the unhealthy, unsportry people. So I use hair length as an indicator generally of how healthy someone is. But that's just me.

I live in Manchester, yes tht chav ridden cesspool, i have shoulder length hair, which is classed in my area is freakishly long. Yeah i know WTF. But none of the chavs ever give me shit. Possibly because they no i'd probably stab them. Or IMPALE them or a coat hook like i did to some cocky shit back in high school.
My advice is if u can back urself up just scare the living shit out of them living shits.

I had long (2/3 down my back) hair for 9 years. I got nothing but compliments.
