Other than that, there isn't anything notable about Amarillo, Texas. It is a city of 180,000 people that lies on the crossroads of I-27 (which itself only goes between the city of Lubbock, Texas (home to Texas Tech) and Amarillo) and I-40. Technically we also have US HWY 287, and US HWY 87 - one goes to Dallas, Texas and the other goes to tiny towns that few will have heard of.

1. Cows out number the amount of people we have.
2. Our Pies, and cheesey get together we have every year called "Pie Day".
3. Our Basketball team won state 3 times in a row.

I'm not joking. Sure, there might be some places I don't go to but I have yet to hear one bullet leaving a gun.

I'm pretty surprised I've seen a load of films that show LA as rife with gangs.

Cannock is said to be the worst town in the UK by Jeremy Clarkson and I agree. Oh and it's the chav capital of the world.
However aside from all the chavvyness and crapness we have some of the best hockey players in England and Cannock Chase which apparently people come to visit.
