New Jersey is such a cool place to be they had to give a Belgian tennis-player the nickname Jersey-girl because she's married to a guy from Jersey.

What was up with that?

Then again, Kim Clijsters was cool right upto the point I learned she liked bulldogs. Those things can't even be born naturally. It's an overbred type of dog that can not survive in the wild anymore because we thought it looked kinda funny. The entire race is an affront to nature.

so you can have her if you want.

haha oh god...after watching south park tonight, (i realize its all stereotyped), i can't help but laugh once again at how incredibly stupid and rage filled people get on that stupid ass show, god dammit, i feel bad for NJ as it is slightly giving you a bad name for people who dontk now the show doesn't reflect the state.

What, when did New Jersey become cool? My money's on when Kevin Smith started making movies there. But then he left and the cool is gone now.

New Jersey isn't cool.
It's only more notable because of that show starring those orange creatures.

New Jersey was never cool, nor shall it ever be cool. But it is an overcast, depressing state!
I beg to differ.

I've changed my hypothesis, what it is, is that other people in other states are jealous. The women in NJ take care of themselves (even if some of them are orange), BUT they are really self conscious. So, in most other states, people just aren't fucking anyone, but here, we've all pretty much fucked at LEAST one hott chick.

Also, anyone who doesn't know that all the guidos and scummy whores are just seepage from NY, has never actually even been to the tri-state area. That's like blaming the Indians for this country being full of douches.

Wait, why does New York hate New Jersey?
Sorry I'm from England but I would like to know
I don't know much about England, but Imagine Hypothetically: the London football(you got soccer, we got gridiron) team had no room to put a stadium. The developers go to the next closest/cheapest state/province where there's swampy meadowlands that no one cares about, and they start construction. The small-town's folk are ecstatic, they get all this new tourism. The London populace are angry 'cause they gotta drive over a bridge and pay a toll to get to see their teams play.
It's also more expensive to live in London, so they come to the small town to buy less-taxed wholesale items. Some of the more 'frugal' London people decide to move to the small town, causing it to grow. When the people who still live in London see, "Oh that guy moved to the small-town? Good, I hated that guy, that town must hell-hole now." But then, this is all just speculation.

As someone who actually lives here, let me comment. We have been described as the Rodney Dangerfield of the U.S. We get no respect. Yes, our pollution is high, property taxes are unbearable, and insurance rates are just inhumane. So, yes we do deserve a bit of the criticism against us. We are known as that land mass between New York and Philadelphia.

I just want to point out, the douches on Jersey Shore are actually from Long Island. We're really not like that.

Oh, and we have Bruce Springsteen.

Never consider it cool but I really don't hate it.

I drove through it once and I though it was a pretty nice sate. (for a while though)

Its just the stereotypical 'Jersey Shore people' ,the corruption, and all the pollution that gives them the bad image.

Ok so it was cool when Megas XLR was on too, but it got cancelled haha. Also, note how Coop leveled half of Jersey a couple times but no one noticed.
