I'm hoping that Sony does to the PS3 what it did to the PS2, bring out a game that really pushes the boundries of its power. Shadow of the Colossus did this for the PS2, I can't wait untill they unveil a game for the PS3 along the same lines.
Link? I haven't found anything to say it's no longer PC exclusive.ksn0va said:note: Crysis ain't an exclusive anymore so that's just dandy, take another one from us will ya! ya gitz!
Original.NoMoreSanity said:The thing is I loved the story for both those games, especially PT. And MGS 2 was the best of the ones I played (3,4) even though the story shitted itself inside out later on. The problem with four is that on average I think the cutscenes lasted half an hour, or at least that's how I feel.orannis62 said:/facepalm. You've only played through Double Agent and Pandora Tomorrow? You know that DA is the game SC fans pretend never existed and, before that, it was PT, right? Seriously, play through either the original or Chaos Theory (preferably both, CT is the best, but the original has a more forgiving difficulty curve, better for newbies).NoMoreSanity said:That is the case, as the only Splinter Cells I played were Double Agent and Pandora's Box (Pandora the better of the two). I still liked DA, infuriating AI besides. (Or is it just like that for every stealh game?) And MGS 4 could've been good if it weren't for the atrocious amounts of cutscenes. I just kept skipping them cause the story was that idiotic.orannis62 said:Oh, fair enough, although I don't know how that's possible. I liked what little of MGS4 I was able to convince Paladin to let me play on his PS3, but I hated Double Agent, so I was sure you were trying to reverse-flame him. Though Double Agent was much better than MGS 4.![]()
As for MGS, whatever. I've always been a fan of stories and cutscenes, so it didn't faze me so much, but I can see how that would get annoying.
But I'll be sure to try CT sometimes. Is it an Xbox Original for 360?
Let me guess you own a 360Twuny20 said:Seriously, it feels like the Xbox 360 is getting left behind in the exclusives department. Whereas the PS3 is having a field day with titles like "God of War III", "inFamous" and "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves". The last big Xbox 360 exclusives were "Gears of War 2" and "Fable 2" and that was last year! I'm sure there have been some Xbox exclusives I may have overlooked, but that's probably because they weren't significant. Right now I kinda wish I'd bought a PS3 instead of my 360. Hopefully the new Halo: ODST will make up for the relatively small lineup us Xbox owners have been left with this year.
not expecting anything, just pointing out that the pc is getting a lot of what it doesn't need like more copycat fps's and mmo's.Indigo_Dingo said:I'm sorry, you were expecting what exactly? Sony asembled a group of some of the most talented people in the industry, and has forged a number of close ties throughout their history. The PC has no major party actively looking out for it.ksn0va said:topic should gave been "Why are all the good exclusives coming out for the consoles?"
I'm not saying that Crysis and Diablo III are not good games, but does the pc really need another fps or another top down rpg.
note: Crysis ain't an exclusive anymore so that's just dandy, take another one from us will ya! ya gitz!

So, they're developing for consoles. Doesn't mean Crysis will be ported. In fact, the first article says it definitely won't be because it was designed for PC.ksn0va said:http://pc.ign.com/articles/870/870416p1.htmlscnj said:Link? and news regarding their new engine that's supposed to work on consoles also.
Bad new for PC gamers.

I was more asking for a "why" to add to your opinion. It wasn't entirely rage, it was an actual question. So, what is wrong with it?bad rider said:Hey if thats your opinion fair enough.jboking said:What is so wrong with Uncharted? I get that some consider it mediocre, but why does everything have to be some pinnacle of gaming achievement? We can't just have a mediocre game that's...I don't know...fun?bad rider said:Yes we are all looking forward to another uncharted game....
I think you can download CT, not sure about the original.NoMoreSanity said:As in you can download it?
