Why are YOU losing faith in humanity?

I've been emotionally scarred by humans, yet I still love them, because for all the shits out there, some are good people.

I just see that people lie and insult and I never do... and I realize the hatred I have for those people who'll harm people in their present, past, or future by their actions.

How is saying that we all lie and insult not actually an insult to all of us?

But essentially, the truth is not an insult, you can choose to be insulted by it but others will not be as they realize the truth of it... usually the fact the truth insults you just proves how right the truth is... The truth has no evil or good in it, it is just facts.

I have seen people lie countless times, but I have not grasped myself doing it to others or the ones I care about, not once... and thus as I see others do it countless times and insulting others and harming others... I lose any faith I have in them or others whatsoever.

"Most" does not mean the same thing as "all". I associate with smart and interesting people, but they are extremely few and far between.

But... This is an insult... Saying that everyone is a hypocrite and lie and insults is an insult. And you can't say that you are the onlym person who doesn't insult because you just insulted every human ever. It might be possible that you are the closest thing there is to human perfection, that you never insult or lie, but you're going to trip up eventaully. And guess what? No one is going to hate you for it. What people are going to hate you for is your holier than thou personality.

I concur. There are the RARE people out there who are good for the sake of good but for the most part it is a lost ideal now. Having honour, integrity and all that is just dying because no one cares anymore. No one is teaching it to the youth because of the way society is going. Unfortunate as it is. I'm losing faith more in the educational system to be honest rather than humanity itself.

but mostly it's just retards, and not people with mental sickness they can't help themselves no i'm talking about the mongs who also control the games industry (publishers like EA and Activision) and idiots who teach in school. Humanity hasn't lost my faith, i've lost faith in what makes up the population of humanity.

Edit: I know it's not only the games industry that has it's mong but since this is a site about games, then thats what the audience gets. Music Movies, books, trade and mostly every other industry also have their mongs that run them.

The question was why I lost faith, and that is why.

It is not an insult to tell the truth, only those who had problems with the truth in relation to them in the first place will actually be insulted by it, others will accept it, and others may try to disprove it, gratus to those who try and do.

You assumed by your own volition and thoughts perhaps based on what you would do in the same situation, that I was thinking I was better than others, that in itself is an insult, not a fact, as I wasn't and you had no reason to think that especially as I was just saying why I lost faith.

Yeah I have no faith in humanity's potential. I'm sure plenty of you have seen how most kids act this day and age.
There was a person who said that PC gaming sucked compared to console gaming because, quote, "On the computer you can't figure out how to shoot or move until, like, a couple hours. On the Xbox you know where everything is from the second you get the controller." On the computer to shoot a gun it's left click. move in asdw or the arrow keys. On the consoles the fire button could be anywhere from circle to R2. There way also once a game I played on the PS1 where to attack you used the right analog stick. when I first played Borderlands on the PS3 I couldn't figure out how to shoot until I've played with the buttons a bit. (Yes I'm used to R1 being the fire button) Also you've got actually F***ing precision on the computer. Why do you think there is auto aim on Call of Duty? (When on console) I was forced to play the orange box on the PS3 until Steam came to Macs and I don't remember there being aim assist of any kind. On the PC version, it was very easy to get a headshot on a guy, through a window, with a magnum, at the end of a very long corridor.

I did a study in my college sociology class about the impact of corporate lobbyists on the government of the USA. What I found after looking for it was really disturbing. It's not a government by the people for the people. No it's more like a government of puppets for the control of the people.

The only people with out ties to corporations and doing what they want is the fringe wackos who I'm not entirely sure are sane. I don't envy politicians if they aren't all 100% corrupt and complacent in the subversion of the will of the people. The stress of knowing they are looking over the wishes of their constituents so that you'll get funding for the next campaign to get reelected, so that maybe you can get some of what your constituents wishes pushed into the legislation maybe.

So ya I don't have any faith in the world any more. They are callous unethical entities who only care for profit and don't care how they get it in the short term, and often have no sort of long term in mind.
