Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece are all the same. I don't know why people insist one is better than the other. One Piece doesn't bog the viewer down with psychotic depression, though.

The compelling villain is Zanbuza (sp?), tough rogue ninja wielding a large sword and has a boy that resembles a woman as a sidekick. I found him surprisingly deep and well characterized. The story line surrounding him has a nice twist that ends on a very satisfying note.jultub said:While I can agree that most of the points you're making are making perfect sense, and I can clearly accept them as a reason not to watch this. I'm not quite getting your references to the villains.cyrad said:For me, the first season was really good. It was emotionally deep, had good characterization, epic fights, and a compelling villain. After that, everything fell apart because...
1. Bad Writing The new main villain becomes uncompelling and doesn't even have an encounter with the main characters, aside from a cliche thing where Sasuke gets 'infected' with darkness.
Who was the compelling villain, and who is the new villain? If you can remember the names, please let me know, because there have been more than two main bad guys where I'm at and I don't know how far you're in or who you're refering to.
This man pretty much answered the question.SimuLord said:Because there's MUCH better anime out there that people could be watching? Because Narutards exemplify every negative stereotype about fans of Japanese culture not from Japan? How about because yes, the show is all filler...and thus refers back to stereotypes previously referenced?

I play in Naruto CCG tournaments, and I wear my sound headband with pride. I'm 23, btw.sushix said:The FANS are why I hate it. Naruto itself is mediocre, but the FANS treat it like some sort of God-send that everything else, even things that came before it, must be held up to. There are people who think that there are spells to make Naruto real, there are people who think Looney Toons are horrible because the characters do not have powers like the characters from Naruto, and they wear those EMBARRASSING head-bands everywhere. I would now, one of my friends is a Narutard. His first thought whenever a ninja is brought up is Naruto.
NARUTO IS A CANCER. It makes me ashamed to be in the same age bracket as the target audience.
Watching Bleach right now? Current fight is really well animated and conveys intensity better than most.s69-5 said:Although Ichigo Vs Byakuya is still ranked amongst my fave anime fights.
That episode was epic. Naruto Vs Sasuke as well.
