The thing is, stories of undeserved success are as old as time. I don't see Justin Bieber as any worse than pretty much any of the other undeservedly popular people in the world.
More than that, he seems to be a pretty decent singer and dancer and concerning his personality, despite being a bit of an idiot, he seems to be fairly pleasant. Considering that he is 16 and going through his most hormonal period under near constant supervision, the one or two slip ups I've heard about are pretty negligable.
The real thing is, it seems to be a massive case of much ado about nothing. I come from England, where he is, admittedly, a lot less popular than in America. If I didn't go on this forum, then I would have barely any idea who Justin Bieber was. Whenever music seems to be discussed here, he always seems to be the butt of some joke or some yardstick for bad music. While I'm certainly not rushing out to buy his albums, there are definately worse musicians, more deserving of hate than he is.
When you look at it, we're just a bunch of gaming nerds, sitting at our computers, hating on a fairly talented, fairly pleasant 16 year old kid, who was lucky enough to get famous.
