I don't "rage quit" simply because of a sniper across the map, or someone spamming rockets and grenades in every orifice.

hell i don't even quit if i am on my own, i'll gladly sneak around trying to pop off as many people as i can.

I don't rage quit. People have done it to me, and it pisses me off to the extent that I don't want to become one of 'them'. I can understand extenuating circumstances, but personally I don't want to be accused of double standards

I only rage quit on MW2 and BFBC2.

On MW2 I often rage quit when there are twonkers who use a runner setup, dangerclose setup, shotgun camping setup or my team is set up for improving their K/D spread on objective based missions. There was once a person who rage quit as me and a mate were using FMJ and he accused us of cheating and not being able to shoot properly.
I sometime ragequit on BFBC2 when the other team is full of snipers with the M95

But other games I don't (I once had to fight 5 people on Gears 2 by myself as this was before they added bots and I was utterly destroyed)

I rage quit if I die and haven't saved in a while and have to go way back. Just irks me. It's easier for me to take a breather and come back. But idk if that counts, cuz I always save first.

If I'm playing horribly and I don't want to drag the team down sometimes i will. I also leave if there's alot of whiners.

I'm guilty for bugging out of co-op games if I feel the team is more useless than a jar of pickles sitting out in the sun.
People don't seem to understand that hoarding all the good weapons and stealing all the dropped items will make you more hated than any enemy spawning...so I'll just loose my patience (as opposed to losing my temper, which is a little pointless) and quit the game asap to let them go on their "merry" way

I dont rage quit because im not a winey little *****. It somebody is using one the the "noob" setups in mw2 il just switch to my acr w/grenade launcher, rpgs, and danger close. I also have control over my emotions and dont start crying over something that happens in a video game.
I agree with you here. I don't play any multiplayer games so I save myself the bullshit of having to deal with retards who take games far too seriously.

When it lags and only my team is affected...
When i have a 3-1 K/D ratio and all my other teammates have 1-3...
And in Battle Field Bad Company 2 when a F*@$^ng tard kills three of our helicopters to get the achievement for splattering someone with a helicopter...
Also when people don't know how to drive vehicles.

when i play Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst (the only MMORPG i play) i will only rage quite when i get surrounded by enemies so that i am unable to attack them because my character is constantly blocking their attacks so can't get out. pisses me off

I don't play much multi player, but in my single player experience I generally rage-quit when I realise I'm losing my nerves on some game instead of having fun like I'm supposed to (for example: some hellishly annoying platforming part in a game that's not about platforming at all).

I rage quit when most of the other team quits and I have to spend half of my time looking for someone to shoot. I really am an impatient gamer. For example, I only play MW2 in that one playlist with up to 18 players. I can't remember the name, but its the only mode I will ever play because I hate looking for enemies.
ground war
OT:when some ****** hits me with disk while im racing someone on a light cycle in tron
Oh yeah, thanks. I felt like such an idiot for not remembering that one. I think I need to lay off the mescaline.

Is that the new tron game you're talking about? Is that even out yet?

I rage quit in MW2 because some playing with some people is just too annoying. For example if 1 guy keeps killing me, I won't quit, but if I kill one guy a lot and then he kills me once and claims he is the greatest player in the world and I should bow down to him due to my complete lack of skill, then I tend to rage quit after I hurl some abuse

When the game shits in your face. Ive been spawned inside a care package. INSIDE A CARE PACKAGE. Ive been spawned on a grenade, under a choppa gunna, inside a shotgun, in front of a snipers bullet and in front of a teleportation (commando) knifer. All these things make me rage quit. Players skill i can respect. The game being retarded i will not.

Bad Company 2 is particularly bad for this. Stupid wookies.

Because I think most Multiplayer that doesn't entail (people in a room together) to be a complete waste of time and lacking in the important "you'd have to be there" kinda feeling that comes from playing a game with someone who is actually in the same room as you... I don't rage quit very often.

However, in regards to the few times I have in stuff like StarCraft and Brawl and such.. it's usually when on of the other players becomes such an intolerable jerk that it's the only way I can keep myself from wanting to snap something in half (such as my controller) or slamming my fist into something (such as my keyboard). Other times are when the game I'm playing (for non-multiplayer situations) because so ungodly cheap or ridiculously bullshit, that I just can't take it anymore and must cease all playing lest I do something regrettable.

Rage quit in L4D2 when one of my team decided it would be best to heal me right next to a witch. Needless to say, she didn't like the experience and tore my guts out.

Well I have a number of reasons to rage quit, first and foremost Spammers, Campers, Team Killers, Greifers, and Quitters. Spamers? They are my biggest bane in MW2 and probably why I am going to trade it in, heck I thought the spam could be bad in Halo 3 but its nothing comepared to MW2 Spam. Campers don't piss me off if they are camping their teams flag or something like that unless they glicthed a wall or some BS but the moment they camp my spawn point thats when it becomes absolutely retarded.Greifers piss me off probably the most. Nothing makes me want to rip someones larynx out and show it to them more than this. Like this one game of Halo I played where this jackass on my team kept EMPing my vehicles, whats worse is the fact that when he EMP'd my Hog it kept rolling foward and killed him and I got booted from the game cause of that jack ass! Team Killers usually don't stay around too long if I figure out they are killing me on purpose, if its just bad friendly fire then it doesn't really bother me. Quitters suck too ... nothing like joining a big team match and finding out your the only person left!

Teamkilling really, and if it's cod4 or MW2 the stupid perks and grenade launcher usually does it for me. Don't normally rage quit though.
