The fact is, Bush could have been better prepared for what happened if he read ONE memo, and acted accordingly. One with a pretty alarming name at that. That ALONE could have changed a good deal.

You do relise that the goverment, quite coincidently, were running simulation of the 9/11 events on the day it happens (So you can't say they did nothing to prevent it, it just happened too soon)

True, many presidents have had to make unpopular decisions, but at least their decisions helped the country in the long run.

Quearry: How do you know his decisions won't help the country in the long run if the long run hasn't happened yet? Or how do you define "the long run".

Also, for your information, it has been PROVEN that every time the Earth has been warmer than it is now, there has been an abundance of CO2 and other greenhouse gasses.

Well, yes, but they're also responsible for the most greenhouse effect: H2O vapor is responsible for 36?70% of the greenhouse effect on Earth, while CO2 is responsible for 9?26% of it. Methane causes 4-9% and ozone causes 3-7%.

George Bush, Jr. has been referred to numerous times as the 'Velcro President,' meaning that all of the various scandals that have happened in the past 8 years tend to stick to him (as opposed to someone like Reagan, seen as the 'Teflon President,' since nobody seemed to remember that any scandals happened during his tenure as President).

I'm not sure if this is Bush's fault or if he's just rather unlucky...
