I can't wait for the game later today. England will be defeated! All hail the psychic octopus!
Paule has predicted our victory, therefor we cannot lose. Come on, guys! Make Rooney eat his provocation, every single word of it!
1-0! Go klose!

Holy shit! Now this is the kind of high-profile soccer I've been waiting for!

I have to say, our team was vastly superior for the first 35 minutes, but that unnecessary goal from Upson, in part made possible by a mistake from our otherwise good goalie, has shaken the English out of their stupor, and even though we're in the lead right now, that lead is extremely soured for me considering that horrendous call in not counting that second goal for England.
We seriously need to get our shit together now and regain the advantage.

By the way, those goals by Klose and Podolski were works of art. Beautiful!

Yeah, again, the best match of the tournament.
The Podolski goal was amazing.
But the Lampard goal was better.

Both of them were truly amazing. Lampard's goal was particularly horrifying for me to watch - it was like England had called two minutes of HAMMER TIME in order to shake our team and the fans right down to the core.
It's just unbelievable what kind of clowns are refereeing this World Cup... I mean, I want Germany to win, but that kind of bad call is just disgraceful. Whoever that ref is, he better never set foot on English soil.

Oh, come on? Is there no justice?
Frankie should've scored that one.
I'm talking about the free kick, just to clarify. Where he hit the crossbar.

Now there's efficiency if I ever saw it.
Thomas Müller, you are a godsend. :D
Yeah, he is one of the best players of the tournament so far.
Now I'm going to buy the guy in every football sim game I play.
EDIT: The German goalkeeper is awesome. His mistake is forgiven.

England's goal earlier should have counted... it crossed the line.

Although, it's not like it would have mattered at this point, since Germany has 4 goals. Beautiful play by both teams, but Germany is outclassing England right now.

4-1 Germany's winning.

In the end they completely outclassed England. The disallowed goal did affect the game, but it's hard to argue when in the last 25 minutes Germany ran all over them.

VICTORYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

This is one for the books. England's worst World Cup defeat at the hands of the youngest German team to ever participate in said tournament.

In the spirit of fair play I have to admit, though - it could have gone the other way if the ref hadn't made that spectacular cock-up with Lampard's goal (the guy was the best English player of the match in my opinion).

-EDIT- And again the city is going nuts in the streets below me. Too bad I gotta go back to my study assignment.

I'm filled with disgust.
Seriously.
Tevez's offside goal was so painfully obvious. They had to talk for a minute and they didn't figure this out.
I quit, I quit.
This is horrible.

I feel so sorry for the Mexicans. Argentina's handing them their ass. I'm scared of the match against them.

Yep, football's in a really shit state at the moment. The annoying thing is that it could all be sorted, if it weren't for a few dinosaurs running (ruining) the sport.

Things that need sorting.

- Diving (instant red card)

- Defenders blocking as the ball rolls out (it's fucking obstruction if you have no intent to play the ball).

- Instant replays for dodgy goals (otherwise, what's the point of the fourth official?)

- Vuvuzelas (they need to explode after they've been blown for five minutes, it'd make an interesting diversion when the football's bland!)

My favorite idea is: get one referee to run around the pitch, another to sit somewhere inside and watch the replays. Give them both mikes and speakers.
Ta-dah, problem solved.
What perplexes me is that the referee understood that there was offside and still didn't make the call.
That was just wrong.

Didn't we beat Argentina at the last World Cup, though...? I seem to remember watching that match. What was is, quarter finals?
