Worst Movie experience

Talking about the worst movie in general, I was forced to watch Norbit with people that loved it and thought it was hilarious. TWICE.

And then there was Max Payne, which, after I had seen it, promised myself I would never go to any movie until I knew that it wouldn't be a worthless piece of crap ahead of time.

If I can refer to a time when the movie was good but my experience in the theater was horrible, I had a nightmare of a time in Spider-Man 2. This four-year-old kid started reading signs and words on the screen out loud like it was a Hooked on Phonics lesson, then started going into hysterics anytime a fight scene came up (i.e. "Dont die, Spider-Man!").

I don't know if I would call my experience with The Happening bad. My bro and I had a blast making fun of it.

I saw Dracula: Dead and Loving It at the theaters once. There's no reason any human being should have been put through that.

White Noise, the previews made it look interesting, but nothing happened till about the last 5 mins of the movie. The other was went to watch The Forbidden Kingdom with a few friends, and I was just getting over this intense back pain, so I was sitting in the chair squirming about trying to get at least decently comfertable, and missed half of the movie doing so.

i lul'd HARD when i read Avatar in the lists.
Why?
i've been banned 3 times for answering questions like this. so i'll leave it to your imagination. just keep in mind i lul'd while writing those 2 sentences.

OT: I also remember 300 being awkward when i watched it at the Imax. Not because the movie sucked, (i went to see it 4 times total) but because it was the very first time i was watching it, and there was this black guy next to me. For some reason, bad guys fading into darkness with only teeth and eyes showing looked mildly racist to me. Then, when that monster dude beheads one of the generals, there goes another "black" dude being put on a ... questionable setting.

For the record, i dont' see anything wrong with those scenes, but... watching it NEXT to a black guy made me THINK about those things... just that one time. xD
Really? Are people so pationated about what they watch to justify a ban?
i would certainly think so. cuz i soon as i type something they be reporting and stuff. xD me? it's all the same to me. i'm not gonna change people's opinions but sugar coating it is not for me either. hence my avoidance of the subject again. (i likes this username :) )

i KNEW i was forgetting one bad movie. I LOVE Mila Kunis... but her character here is so goddamn useless. The whole PLOT don't even make sense unless you played the game. Even if you played the games, the way the movie is presented is just trash. trash i tell you.

I walked from my house to the movie theatre (10 minute drive, 45 minute walk) in the pouring rain and my friend abandoned me halfway thru.

I'd say Transformers 2. I felt like I was in that theater for an entire week, slowly losing my sanity. And of course at the end, my little sister and uncle were talking about how great it was.

The worst movie experience that I can remember is going to see the movie Whiteout(2009). That movie had horrific acting, idiotic characters, way to many flashbacks of the same scene and was excruciatingly slow. It was a 90 minute movie that felt like it was four times as long. It was even slower than a Stanley Kubrick movie.

All the shit movies I've paid to watch in theatres expecting them to be good:

- The American
- The Informant!
- The International
- Michael Clayton

Those are the worst. I actually walked out of The Informant! and it remains the only movie I've ever walked out of. Although I really wish I had walked out of The American. What a god-awful movie by an arrogant, self-indulgent filmmaker. I'm surprised "Soderbergh" wasn't anywhere in the credits, because he usually makes movies like this. I don't think I'll ever watch another movie with George Clooney because he attracts boredom like Cameron attracts money. Another example of this, that I watched at home: Syriana.

Watching Old Boy with my father-in-law. I suggested the movie because I was under the impression it was a pretty straight-forward revenge/action movie. I did not realize it involved multiple scenes of incestuous sex and self-mutilation. Awk-ward.

The second time I saw Avatar (Once was with my family, another was with my friend.). There were these women who were talking on their cell phones and walking around in front of the screen for the first half of the movie, then for the second half commenting on everything that happened on screen. And they WOULD NOT SHUT UP!

Second worst was when I saw Rifftrax Live:Reefer Madness. There were massive amounts of technical difficulties but the amount of LOLs were enough to make me still feel good about seeing it.

Clash of the Titans; The Expendables; Spiderman 3

Even the Popcorn tasted like bitter acid while watching those... abominations containing 0 cultural value.

Then there's stuff like Transformers... which I refuse to call a "Movie Experience", it was probably just above being raped.

Funny People. It wasn't really that horrible, but at the time.....Jesus, it's so fucking long, and there's like 20 dick jokes an hour, and the tone keeps shifting from goofball comedy, to drama, to heartwarming(but not really), and back to unfunny comedy.

It was torture.

Daybreakers, I went in hoping for something like Equilibrium. I expected something on par with Underworld since then I wouldn't be disapointed.

I was shocked when it couldn't even reach that low standard.
