Xbox 360 or Playstation 3? which one should i get?

360, you'll have a bigger library of games, and since you didn't specify a preference, there's more of a chance you'll like the games. Also, Live is getting better all the time, and we will soon have 1v100, which sounds really really fun. And Kodu seems like something totally awesome.
I'd say something nice about the PS3, but I hardly have any experience with it.

First, it will have the cash prize when it comes out of beta. Second, however "pathetic" you feel it is does not effect the amount of fun there is to be had with it. I think it will be fun and I've heard it is actually fun. Thus, I have a good reason to believe it is going to be fun.Indigo_Dingo said:

Couldn't you get all the things you said in the last part (cart racing, poker, pool, aerial racing) in as you said, actual games? I would also disagree with the first part. I doubt it will have less content as it will be hosted live every night, which would mean new questions, like an actual gameshow. The other games I can't really argue with as I have only head of Fat Princess, which doesn't appeal to me very much. In the end, it's all up to the OP's opinion if he likes the idea of Live or Home better, or if he prefers a certain genre over the other, not anything we say here.Indigo_Dingo said:

:O PS3 i trashed my xbox after it scratched many of my disks and having to pay for Live :/ PS3 Free online also works as Blu-ray player which is allways nice. may not be as popular but thers enough people on there to keep me happy and plus thers less kids on there screaming down the mic like on Xbox.
not wanting to partake in yet another console war.. like i metioned before, i feel the ps3 is better. a lot of the great games out there are for both systems but some just work better on the playstation (games like street fighter, resident evil need for speed, and dare i say tomb raider [ya, i did like underworld] those games started and made popular by playstation. well.. not street fighter.. but fighting games in general work better on the PS.
and again... you cant deny that nearly every 360 ends up 'dead' and it's a hassle to replace. (it has happened to 3 of my buddies) ---dont hate me.. just my opinion..

and i'm very shocked that no one is really bashing each other with death threats and obscene name calling yet. maybe...just maybe, gamers dont care as much, all 3 systems are doing well, (not nearly as good as last gen, sales down for everyone) but looking at the latest sales, it's getting pretty even. and thats good to hear. go ps3!!
