No, I don't stand for things like that.
I tell them plainly and clearly (and loudly!): "Keep your hands of my ass!!!"
Wich they usually find quite embarassing as everyone starts staring at them.

Tsk....Guess what would happen if I wen't around grabbing girls asses.....

When I was sixteen I was frisked *VERY THOROUGHLY* by a security guard at a NIN concert. I am fairly certain that I was not carrying in drugs under my scrotum and such...however she appeared to be working under the assumption that I might actually be doing so.

I know where you are coming from.

I had my arse grabbed by a bikie at an AC/DC concert, not fun and thoroughly scared me at the time. In response I just moshed with my friend always between him and me. Despite the fear at the time, now it's a good story for parties.
I'm a guy by the way.

This is a weekly occurence, so longs as it isn't intrusive or over the top i dont usually care. I actually had one girl do it and when i didn't even bother to look up at her she had the cheek to ask i wasn't giving her the time of day. Apparently just staring at someone like you want them dead and shrugging don't count as suitable answers.

If that was me I do apologise, but if you little 'uns will stand in my way theres not much I can do about it.

Fortunately I'm physically repellent enough to not worry about groping of any kind. One night at a local gay bar though I walked past a group consisting of two guys and a girl and my arse was grabbed. I really hope it was the girl.
can I ask why were you in a gay bar? I'm just curious
Everywhere else closes at 2 am, this place stays open untill 6. That and my female friends sometimes prefer going to gay bars because they just want a drink and a dance without attracting male attention.

Damn, sorry to hear it. Don't beat yourself up though. I went to a Children of Bodom concert on the other end of NZ and I was intent on having a good time when this woman who I do not know started riding my leg, most dudes would find this awesome, I did not. So story short I got her off me and got into a pit, never saw her again

Should have pounded the guy in the nuts. That was practically sexual assault, if you ask me.

As for the girls, turning around and sternly telling them to please piss off may have done the job.
It is sexual assault. But he was kinda burly and I didn't want to risk getting my ass handed to me in the last 5 minutes after being there for about 8 hours.
you could of ran off into the crowd, or said to him, would you kindly FUCK OFF!

People don't do that to me. If they did and were hot - I'd take em to a secluded location, if they weren't I'd probably tell them to stop it and if they didn't... well that would depend on my mood really.

That's never been a problem for me. The times I've fallen in a pit, someone has always helped me up. That's why I love the mosh pit... it may look violent, but if you are with the right crowd that "gets it", then it'll all be in good spirits

OP: I have several times at concert been dryhumped from behind, by girls. No idea why.

What an awful experience. This is why I avoid the public. Physical contact of any forceful or sexual assaulting kind is just not on, and thoroughly deserving of the most horrible reprisals. Scum or Bacchic celebrators have no rights, not then and there.

Ahh, another plebeian with no discipline, no respect.

I've been groped horrendously when I've gone out in drag to the wrong kind of gay bar before.

Actually incidentally...

I go to gay bars because, nine times out of ten, gay bars are the best nights out ever.

I was wondering whether my fellow Esacplians have ever endured anything.. unpleasent at a concert, and what was it? Erm, I use my physical prowess to absolutely destroy anybody trying to have a good time (including me) whilst not being a dickhead....

Now back on topic, yes, sadly I have. I saw this boyfriend, or at least a shallow guy who thought he was a boyfriend, grabbing a woman who I guess he thought was his property by the arm and dragging her out of the bookstore. I just looked up and saw her obviously struggling and resisting his pull whilst he was saying stuff like "fucking come with me." He acted like he owned her and this was beyond a boyfriend dragging a girlfriend to a movie they are late for. However, the logical half of me stopped me from stepping in. Did I analyse the situation properly? Am I seeing the full picture? Even if I step in, what will I potentially solve? I decided not to do anything about it and just like everybody else, stared...

Just to lighten everybody's mood, here is a video that I found to be related to this thread in a really really small way.

Sometimes best not to step in, 2 times saw something like this, one time i stepped in got knocked on my ass(gave girl distraction enough to beat the hell out of him) and second time got knocked nearly down an escalator(yeah fell halfway down the up escalator hurt like hell) and the girl kicked him in the nuts ran to me stole my knife and NEARLY stabbed him in the balls(she missed got the leg police came by that point)
Never did get that knife back, loved that knife.
Also need to work on my footing I'll get knocked down less

Got pinched in the arse once or twice in highschool, think they were just pissing me around though I was always the social outcast way back when, hell still a recluse. Got groped once never saw who it was, really, really dont want to know the club was a total sausage fest, I'll just imagine it was the red head and remain happy >_>

Only other experience was walking into the wrong pub at the wrong time got in the middle of a four way brawl tried to walk out and got punked out with a bottle.

The other day I was at a concert and over the course of the last 3-4 hours or so, there were a bunch of girls behind me who kept touching my hair (something that's a bit of a beserk button for me) and grabbing my ass and other really great things like that. Then there was a 36 year old guy next to me, who I'm pretty sure had 2 wives or girlfriends or a really odd relationship with his daughter. Near the end of the concert, this guy grabbed my hand dragged it across his crotch. Yeah. I'm not sure if he knew it was me, but it was uncomfortable.

After being thoroughly sexually assaulted for about 3 hours, which is not all that fun, the concert was over and I was almost home. This was the point when I realised that I was aroused really, really angry. Not so much at the people there but at myself for putting up with all that for so long without saying anything, which is something I always thought I wouldn't do.

I was wondering whether my fellow Esacplians have ever endured anything.. unpleasent at a concert, and what was it? I'm sorry to hear that. I've been to two concerts before, and never had this problem. The first concert was awesome, but quite loosely packed where I was, and then the second concert I was in the second row being crushed by practically everyone, I'm not quite sure I could tell if anyone was trying to be sexual towards me. I'm a guy, so I highly doubt I would've minded. By that I mean I'd be enjoying every single second. But that'll never happen sadly, I'm fat and ugly and at this point there will never be any unwanted approaches. [I'm assuming opposite sex. Same sex would end up with the guy "accidentally" being smacked in the face and pushed back to fall under the feet of the crowd.]
I do however hate people that do this, so if I'd been there I probably woulda smacked them one. Especially that guy. He would definitely be ending up under the moshpit. [Been there, done that, not fun. [Mosh pit randomly spawned just in front of me, someone jumped on my ankle, I automatically try to keep my weight of it, knocked off balance, and under the mosh pit I gooooo]].

I go to concerts all the time and not had anything like that happen to me before other than one time when I saw Radiohead and this girl next to me kept rubbing up against me and grabbing my hands while placing them around her waist.
