To be honest, the only huge gaming disappointment I've had is with Lucidity, the new LucasArts platformer. There was so much potential there, but the game is just an exercise in frustration. You can't even enjoy the beautifully drawn scenery because if you aren't constantly spamming ladders and fans the little girl falls into a spike trap or something.

Something that beautiful, with such relaxing music, should have been a much more serene experience.

WaW, it was just such a downgrade from COD4.

It seemed a lot like a user-made mod, based off of the COD4 code. With a worse spawn system. And unbalanced guns. And tanks/dogs.

BUT it did have Nazi Zombies! The only thing I actually like about the game.
Finnally someone who agress with me the MP is unfair but whenever I say that someone whos lucky and does well says "No its not its balanced man you just suck" or something like that but Nazi Zombies is awesome its one of the things that makes me miss my 360. I'll miss it too when MW2 comes out because then no one will play NZ online bummer well MW2 will be a good game.

Saints Row 2 Because I couldn't even get it to work I never even got to play, it kept freezing or saying the disc was unreadable my old 360 is why I'm having second thoughts about getting another one it wasn't just SR2 pretty much every game was "Unreadable" except Halo, I'd take a case out of the shrink wrap take out the brand new clean shiny disc put in the drive press the button it would load, I'd sit down the first logo would come up then Bam "This Disc is Unreadable" I swear to god my 360 was self-aware.

A review I read of Full Auto said it was a good game and I wanted to shoot other cars with mine.

Turns out it was shit. Damn lying reviewers.

Starwars the force unleashed. Not only was this game a boring hack'n'slash it was a very short, cost $60, and had no re-play value.

I'm going to go with Spore. So much oppurtunity, and I had so much belief in that game. Unfortunatly, despite you being able to control the whole universe, it all felt very small and linear. Lasted playing for about a week, then gave up.

KotOR 2.
It didn't stand up to it's predecessor at all. I found everything about the game to be worse, except for the villains.

Fable II.

I'd gotten really hyped up about how the consequences of my actions would affect the world around me, and I was expecting to see environments change the way it had been described, but, then, I found Thag's camp was constantly full of the same thieves I had beaten in the first quest and I realised it was just another game with respawning enemies.
The enviromnments do change.

You just have to wait until the halfway point of the game for it to happen.

Bowerstone old town is the most extreme example, and you can see that one right at the start if you want, it all depends on whether you gave the wanted posters to the guard or the thug.

Both COD games are horribly unfair sometimes, it's just the way it is.

It's not because you suck, even good players have bad days on that game. Host advantage and lag are rampant. Always change server if you're getting repeatedly annihalated.

Spore hands down. I still play it, I even enjoy it at times. But that game never was going to live up to the hype it had created for itself.

Bioshock.
"Hey man, I just realized that we didn't program the enemies to take cover or act realistically during shootouts"
"Hmmm... I know, just make it so that they won't miss any shots and then give them enough health to take a shotgun blast to the head. That'll fix it."

Later

"Hey, man, I did what you told me, but now our game is cheap and frustrating."
"Hmmm... I know, just make it so the player respawns a few yards away when they die. This will totally not unbalance our game or render plasmids/ammunition/health packs/a general care for the game itself useless."
