the riddler is the kmart version of the joker. Why not have catwoman come in and tempt batman into giving up his moral code (as batman will be discouraged, fighting to save a city that hates him)

i mean, they've had bruce waffle over hanging up the cowl for two movies, whynot give him a good reason to?

All I ask is that they don't *try* to top Dark Knight, only because if they cram it with effort, it will be completely obvious and it will fail. If it's going to top Dark Knight, it will be because of good storytelling, wicked effects and a villain that has been modernized properly. As for who that villain should be... I don't know.

Personally, a major fear of mine is the introduction of Robin. I hate that character with a passion. He was fine with the silly Adam West-style of Batman, but in any serious Batman, he just ruins it for me. He's like mustard smeared messily across the juicy barbecued steak that is Batman. And I just know that if they do write him in, he's going to be Shia LaBeouf. Do not want.

Chris O'Donnell found sobbing:

I stay with Batman because they killed my parents too!

Robin...? Holy pointless extra Batman!

Anyway... removed from the comedy plot the 1960s catwoman stood out as the best I've seen.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyqFsntv3Wo&feature=related

In the interview she says that it's mainly the movement that makes it work, also her totally nonchalant "cat like" attitude to everything...

Ive really been missing Harley Quinn myself, im hoping she shows up in the next Batman.
For those of you who dont know, Harley Quinn is the psychoanalist of the Joker. She got really facinated by the Joker during their sessions and even helped him escape(in a nutshell)

Like the Joker says in his final scene in the Dark Knight:
"I think, you and I are destined to do this forever"
So thats pretty much an open ending for the Joker (to bad Heath died)

Also what i really liked about the Dark Knight was that I didnt find out that Two Face was in it, untill it acutally revealed itself in the movie. Which was a really positive thing for me.
But thats besides the point ^^

So as i was saying, i would love to see Harley Quinn in a next movie and perhaps some surprise comeback *HINT HINT Poison Ivy* (AND DONT YOU DARE CAST UMA FOR THAT AGAIN, BAD CASTINGDIRECTOR!!)

What I ment to imply was that I didnt know untill I saw the movie, I didnt see anything on the trailers and hadn't heard any rumours.

But yea, it was kinda obvious that it was Harvey Two Face...

My hopes for the new batman flick? That it in no way involves Megan Fox.

ok heres my two cents and some info that has now been confirmed

Reguarding Robin, Just like what "scrolls up" axia777 wrote. Nolan definetly doesnt want robin in any of the new batman films whatsoever. Even if he did he couldnt put the character in the movies. Robins origin, correct me if im wrong, is the son of commsioner Gordan. When Two Face kills Gordan his son vowes revenge upon him. Therefore he becomes Robin.

Now for the conformation of the villians... ready for it

The villians will be

Drumroll

The Penguin and the Riddler (and yes I have proof of this)

The penguin will be played by Phillip Semour Hoffman
And the Riddler is non other than Johnny Depp

In the meantime heres a poster to get you all in "up all night juping around the room" anticipation

I want a time skip and Michael Ironside as a bitter old Batman.
Yeah, and have the movie start off with a montage like sequence showing Batman's career from the end of The Dark Knight until the time the movie is set like Watchmen had as the movie played the opening credits, and go into detail later on in the movie on specific parts of Batman's career, as they will somehow intertwine with Batman's final challenge.

Johny Depp as the Riddler. Oh god I want that to happen.
Ninja'd... I think that's how you say it, ninja'd... must remember to investigate further.

Alternativley I would hope to see Catwoman and have her slightly more dignified then what Haley Barrie (Most likely mispelled) turned her into. Go back to the way she was in the Tim Burton film and have her really sexy and powerful and very much clear and dominant.

First of all, COOL IDEA. Secondly, YOU KNOW WHO MICHAEL IRONSIDE IS?!? That guy has been one of my favourite character actors since I was a kid. I was an extra in one of his early movies which at the time was called "The Haunting of Hamilton High" and was renamed "Hello Mary Lou, Prom Night II" at the last minute before its 3 day run in the theatre.

I had the distinct pleasure of having lunch with the man in between scenes. He was/is one of the most down to earth, funny and generous actors I've ever met. No movie star bullshit from that guy. He would be a perfect future batman circa "The Dark Knight Returns"

Oh, and HMLPN2? DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE. Even though I get killed in the final scene, even I won't spend money to see that piece of shit...

-Cheers

To not star Crhistian Bale and remove the director. Give it back to someone that can take the feel of the comics and make it into a movie, not some darki crime bollocks with the worst (Yet best) Joker.
My thoughts exactly.

Nolan took all the mystery out of Batman and turned it into John Grisham's Batman. In the Dark Knight when Aaron Eckhart confesed to being Batman, I thought; If only, he would've blow Bale out of the water.
