Same. Although my parents hearing me attempt to sing is probably more embarrassing than them hearing me scream along to deathcore

For me it was when my horrifcly homophobic dad saw me kissing a girl after school (i'm bi) and went mental calling me filthy and disgusting and that he was ashamed i was in his family
my responce was to move to my aunt who also hate that despicable bastard and never talk to him again
I got to say, hard to beat that.

OT: Me and my mother have openly had belching competitions, so it's no big deal. And she was the first person to get me drunk, so...

Actually, this was recently. She cuts hair out of the house and had a client over, it was one of her friends. The client's a stripper. So we're talking, because she'd heard so much about me, and because I'm graduating this year and I'm an artist, she suggested a job. Designing posters for strippers. While my mom was doing her hair. More awkward to her than me, but that may have been because I played it up.

The second would be when I heard her and her boyfriend in the next room and told her. Again, more awkward for her (I stopped idolizing her YEARS ago), and probably not helped by the fact that I was trying to make it sound nonchalant, because she seriously needs to relax.

Acting out story ideas.

When i get an idea for a story i like to act it out to see if i like they way it sounds and i tend to get into the characters im building.
Especially the voices.
Thank fuck. I thought I was the only one, not that I've been caught by anybody but my cat Viv, who looked at me in disgust as usual and walked off.
Damn those judgmental pets. My dog's the same way...

I remember once a friend walked in on me whilst I was pacing around my room making explosion noises (I do that a lot), and when I spotted him, I jumped high into the air with fright, curled into a big ball WHILST IN THE AIR and collapsed into a terrified huddle on the floor
Good gods, I'd pay to see that. (Not a whole lot, probably, but still, money.)

I've had a few close calls with the ol' single-player game (wink wink nudge nudge), but I've never actually been caught in the act. She has walked in on voice convos on occasion, but she knows what they are and she just tends to ask who I'm talking to and where they're from after I turn off the mic.

Homophobes can overreact, they just don't understand. Good thing you got out of there.

OT: Falling asleep with my laptop on my chest, and waking up to find my mum GOING THROUGH MY HISTORY.

I talk to myself all the time, but thjat's no big deal.

There was a brief period of time where my girlfriend (now fiancee) and I lived in my Mom's basement. (I know, I'm still ashamed. I can't wash all the dirt off!)

Anyhoo, she came down stairs one morning and told us matter of factly that no matter how quiet we were, she could hear us having sex. There's apparently a vent that leads directly to her bedroom. We moved out shortly thereafter.

Nothing. I'm a very discreet person, if i'm about to do something i don't want others to know then i make absolutely sure i won't get busted. Otherwise i simply won't do it.

Dad caught me engaged in a bit of sexual experimentation in a filthy shed with some friends (also boys). I was about 6 year old, we found somebody's porno stash and got ideas.

I'm not gay, but when you're that young you've really no higher thinking going on; a premature libido, though too undeveloped get any kind of mature appreciation out of that sort of thing, is nonetheless capable of directing youthful curiosity in whatever direction piques its interest.

After getting chewed out by dad, I think I spent the next 20 or so years thoroughly ashamed of sexuality in general. I didn't even masturbate until I was 26 on the advice of a therapist who recommended it for stress relief: that's right, completely skipped my sexual prime. To an extent, you could say this whole debacle was a life-ruining experience, as I really pursued no relationships at all while I was in school.

Do I win the thread?

Usually if I'm doing anything bad the door's locked. But I can remember a time where my mom heard me swearing continuously.

Me and my missus were visiting my parents. Staying in my old room, even. Suffice it to say, I've now been walked in on, by my mum, during.

She came in, thank god there was a duvet involved, noticed what was occurring and the panicked, embarrassed looks on our faces, when she was like "I'm just leaving". She went for a drive! That was nice of her :)

£5 says that if she caught my little sister (Shes 16) and her boyfriend during, she'd not have been quite as accommodating.

I remember one time turning around after one of my acting sessions only to see my two kittens staring at me.
I said "hey, wotcha looking at kittys?".
The then turned around and walked off like they were saying "Weirdo"
