What is the best book you've ever read?

I have to say my favorite book and the best is The Hobbit. It defines everything I like about fantasy and truly was memorable. Honorable mentions go to A Tale of Two Cities by Dickens. While it started off rather plain and in fact rather boring, the ending made up for it a hundred times...

    What have you played today?

    (360) Fable II (360) Dragon Age: Origins (DS) Chrono Trigger (SNES) Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars I don't know, I think it's a pretty decent list. Probably going to play some Oblivion and Fallout later. That is Oblivion: Shivering Isles, and Fallout II and Fallout III.

    favourite gaming character?

Alistair, Zevran, Minsc, Edwin, Reaver, Conker. That list usually changes on a daily basis depending what I play but I have to say Alistair usually tops it.

Game series you've put the most time into?

Elder Scrolls by a fair stretch. Between Oblivion which got the lions share and Morrowind there were at least 3,000 hours sunk into that series.

Poll: Do you know the words to your national anthem?

Yep sure do. I know the words to O Canada, the Star Spangled Banner, and God Save the Queen. On the subject of patriotism yes, with God Save the Queen not O Canada. It's only a personal opinion of course but I despise the Canadian anthem. I get rather irritated, bored and unhappy when...

    Retro Reccommendations?

Hard because there's no real genre list. But some of the ones I adored were Baldurs Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Populous: The Beginning, Simcity 2000 and 3000, Wing Commander, and Dungeon Siege: Legends of Arrana.

    Are You a Fast Reader?

It depends on what kind of reading and what kind of subject matter but in general yes. Novels tend to take me a little longer to start up. This usually has to do with initial setting and placement, needing to hear the voices actually resonate in my mind as well as really get into a reading...

Dungeons & Dragons Lures Back Old Players

Well it certainly has little appeal to me, been playing since the close of AD&D but still 3E is the only D&D I'll play. However, I have switched to D20 Modern which has been a ton of fun lately with an entirely home brewed world, culture, races, etc etc. Which should say about how much I use...

Post a song you've listened to A LOT lately.

Still stuck on Sonata Arctica with The Last Amazing Grays

On the subject of Rap music.

I'm sorry, I tried, I tried to get some sort of understanding or outside clear eyed perspective on this all and frankly so far no one's changed my mind about it as a genre. All a matter of perspective, and colloquially 'It still sucks'. No that's not quite fair. In honesty it's not all...

    Favourite Alcoholic Beverage

Hmm on the one hand Baileys is ever so delicious and tastes good in coffee, hot cocoa, and milk. I actually really don't like alcohol much at all and besides a wine or two and Baileys there's only a single hard liquor I could drink. That would be Drambuie. So my favorite pure liquor is...

Poll: Morality Systems: Good or Bad?

Like most others are saying, I echo the sentiment that they're a good thing if done right. As a blanket statement the morality systems are interesting because often they allow choice even if it's black and white which I find much nicer than a single steady path. That said, I also like more...

What do prefer- Asterix&Obelisk OR TinTin.

Tin Tin was something I grew up on and only ever glimpsed Asterix and Obelix in the school library once or twice. Actually with Tin Tin it was the supporting cast I rather liked.

What's your Alignment (oh boy a quiz thread)

Neutral good so that's not a surprise in the least but always good to know. Same thing apparently as Luke friggen Skywalker, Indiana Jones, and Gandalf. Better company there was not... oh and something about Ghandi and Mother Teresa too. 36.1% good and 2.6% law.

    Everyday clothing

Well, I sure like cargo pants, BDU's, a T-shirt, and usually a hoodie. Hiking boots all the way but then again I live in the country and got my hands on a pair of really surprisingly comfortable ones. They last for an extremely long time, they work with darker colors, and they have steel toes...
