I get the impression from this article that moviebob didn't even watch the series. It's almost more campy than the games - and it failed miserably at the whole damn thing. The trailer was great because it was over the top with its grittiness as opposed to simply being over the top.

From what I've seen, Brink reminds me more of Team Fortress than CoD. I wonder if there's a reason nobody's made that comparison yet.

For those of you all in a tizzie about which great movie to see, go ahead and knock Insidious off your list. Saw it last weekend, spent 90% of it laughing. Not at the right parts.

Why does everyone always treat things like this like a problem? I just don't get it.

Funny how nobody has any of these issues with eugenics when it comes to selectively breeding animals, plants, etc. Don't animals and oranges and stuff have a -right- to have all kinds of genetic predispositions for all sorts of diseases that could potentially get into your food?

Dresden Codak and Pictures for Sad Children are both very high quality.

It really depends on the channel. I don't think you'd quite get the right effect if scenes were missing, or if it were getting interrupted by commercials every fifteen seconds. But if it's being shown uninterrupted and completely as is, then, yeah, definitely.
