God forbid we all like the exact same things.
You said that in another topic (where you just happened to be attacking someone for not liking MGS4. Which I suppose is kind of Ironic but there you go)
Re-read my posts, in their entirety, and you'll become aware of the poignant factoid that nags at me just now. That is, of course, that I was not attacking anyone.
Take note: I measured in words the concept that the game worked for some people, and did not for others, and was actually playing internet white knight for the guy who disliked the game and was subsequently hated upon with rain made of bullets. It will always be that way; I also made issue with people misrepresenting certain aspects of the game out of laziness to wiki-pedia some semi-decent plot synopsis.
Furthermore, and also lastly (so rejoice), I do not have issue with your review. It is scathing and meant to be so, but still somewhat complementary of the game insofar as to state that it is generally better then most piles of you-know-what forked onto you-know-who these days. I grasp that you took my post as an affront to your opinion, whereas I stated a counter-opinion, with fact in any measure never entering either of our arguments at any one point, but do not despair insofar as to misquote a previous post I made on the assumption that you must defend your work.
We both know this is entirely unnecessary, and you do now, because the post will be explained in this way: A simple denouncement of a running trend to be "cynical-humorousi-commonplaci" (in no exacting scientific terms) in the exact same manner that your work was posted. Take note, I did not use pictures--a nice touch on your end.
All is said and done, and you've come to the conclusion that you can dish and receive your own brand of humor (actually, it's common enough to be everyones brand these days--let us say a poor homage to the sites patron, though he hardly originated the format) without a great deal of fuss and we are once more friends who may share ice cream. You may be happy with comments dating after mine that supported your efforts and made the entire idea seem more worthwhile and fulfilling.
Oh, wait, I was supposed to be done a paragraph ago. I had best beset my editors to trim my script.
And that's the game, as she once put it.
