oh yeah, delta squad. amazing how they could make identical clones have such different personalities. felt sad when [add spoiler here] at the end.Rynamo AV said:Gonna go with the majority here and say Alyx.
EDIT: Oh darn, nearly forgot Delta Squad from Republic Commando.
But that is the way of the sith. It was a test to see if you were strong enough to follow Revan or become the new dark lord. Her stories and manipulative ways were also awesome.Jedamethis said:she tries to kill you at the end, evil old lady >_<

No one dared mention Yoshi's name, before you. Not one of us can even begin to appreciate or put into words the amount of sacrifice [http://www.f-ram.net/media/erb/yoshifall.jpg] that little guy had to go through, just for Mario to get a girl, and subsequently proceed to change the whole world's colors all wrong. His is the name that is doomed to forever remain in Mario's shadow.Gaderael said:Man, no one said Yoshi yet? crazy. He was so awesome in SMW. I also agree with Capt. Price in any COD.
A third the Epona thing. Either her or Clank. What makes a great companion character to me is usefulness. If all they do is stand around say "Jenkies!" then who bloody needs 'em. They better contribute or get up out the way.la-le-lu-li-lo said:Definitely Epona. She never got in your way and had awesome theme music, so duh.Xvito said:My favorite is probably Epona, from Ocarina of Time.
--Xvito, keeping it excellent.
I was also a fan of Charon in Fallout 3 though.
Wait, ninja'd!
Wrex & Fawkes are both awesome too.Internet Kraken said:Wrex is the definition of awesome.
Fawkes is also cool to, but that's only because he can rip apart anything he encounters.
Damn. I can't choose between all of them!
Can I have a top 5 instead?
Epona, Charon, Wrex, Fawkes, & Garrus.
Okay, Garrus wasn't that great but I liked him! D:
This. The only companion that didn't try and get me killed while I pull their ass out of the fire. That didn't try and steal my fun by trying to play itself. And that didn't annoy me with stupid phrases repeated in 3 second intervals.Kalado said:Companion Cube
I don't know why but whenever I played Half Life 2 I couldn't bring myself to actually like her, she just got on my nerves half the time (I felt like I was forced to like her, not because of who she was or any personally appealing qualities but because I was supposed to) , her effectiveness half the time was made painfully apparant because it was often highlighted at times when you happened to be unarmed and vulnerable (such as the tunnels at the begining of Episode one and the area where you act as bait while she snipes, you largely 'need' her). Her character felt somewhat forced to me (they were trying to make a good person and she ended up being somewhat unrealistic in my eyes).JRCB said:I'd say either Alyx, because she is a likable character who actually helps.
are you saying you like being cruelly manipulated?Jester Lord said:But that is the way of the sith. It was a test to see if you were strong enough to follow Revan or become the new dark lord.
