Legend of zelda series

Or portal for Still Alive.
Or Portal for all the music in that game besides Still Alive.

Also Metroid Prime, Fallout 2, Pikmen, Half-Life, TF2, Super Mario 64, Fallout 3, and a bunch of other games.
Oy I have the orangebox sound track. Vortal combat ftw

MapleStory.

Maybe I'm a loser, but whether it be Kerning City or Lith Harbor, everywhere you went had a unique song that related to the area you were in. I remember when I used to play it I could just go out hunting mushrooms and just listen to the music and it would be more fun then I ever had with some console titles. I might have to go download it again...

Honorable Mentions go to Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead, and Fallout 3. Gears of War 2's menu screen had a song that I will never forget. Left 4 Dead the music really sets the mood and tells you what's around you. It's impossible to play while listening to other music. Fallout 3 really helped me get through the wasteland because walking around gets pretty boring and the music has some sort of... ironic feel. I mean shooting off a super mutant's head to that relaxing 40's music or the patriotic music just fits even though it shouldn't. I got the soundtrack too and it's just wonderful to listen to. I can't get enough of Butcher Pete.

Arcanum. The Victorian violin music gives me shivers every time, I absolutely adore it.
This topic comes up once every couple of months, and finally I'm not the only one to talk about Arcanum.

GTA IV. Driving around Liberty City at night to Smashing Pumpkins - 1979 was a highlight.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles ftw. Although nostalgia probably makes my opinion a little bias...

To think that anyone else would bring this up. You're my hero now.

Also, I can't understand people saying Morrowind and Oblivion had a great soundtrack. Sure Morrowind had some nice tunes, but both games had really bland and samey soundtracks in my opinion.
