Here's how i derived the points
1. You made a summary to save people some time. However your summary was apparently an elaborate trap. This however, is immaterial because I read the article.
2. His words, verbatim "...they're showing me too much parkour, I want to see the gunplay."
Once again, the gunplay is ancillary to the game because the main character is not a badass space marine. The running and jumping is the core gameplay element (interspersed with kicking people in the face occasionally)
Therefore, Cliffy decided that he did not care for them prominently displaying the entire point of the game
I didn't make a summary, I made an interpretation.
His complete quote verbatim was "I think Mirror's Edge will be great, too, but they're showing me too much parkour, I want to see the gunplay. I hope it's not all just running and jumping. As long as there's something chasing me...even Mario had Goombas, you know?"
I interpret that as meaning he likes the look of the parkour gameplay but he wants to know how the combat handles and that combat is in the game at all.
I think Cliff would be among the people that prefer PoP: WW to PoP: TSoT on the basis of combat. Lots of the "proper" gamers would tear him up for that. But the way I see it, Warrior Within was great fun and much less annoying than Sands of Time. The story and dialog were worse but I'm not playing a movie.
Anyway, you see what I mean?

But hey, frat boys and fan tards at least you have someone to look up to huh?
If there's a frat boy Oscar award out there, Cliffy B takes it home.
Frat boy stereotyping huh? Very sofisticated of you.
My roommate recently joined a frat, and he's an obsessive WoW player.
