Sadly, I haven't had anything creepy happening to me. The only things I experience a lot is Deja Vu.

I love this thread :) Makes me think of a couple of things I almost forgot.
-----------------
One was about 7 years ago, I was studying for some exams a lot (about 16 hours a day). I came home one afternoon to take a nap before going back to the library to study. Of course I passed out almost as soon as my head hit the pillow. Now the freaky part. I woke up but I couldn't move. You know when your hand goes numb when you sleep? Well it felt like that but it was my entire body. To make things worse there was a stain on my wall next to the bed but I could only see it with the corner of my eye and somehow I was convinced it was a huge bug going after me. As I'm usually a pretty calm guy I thought I would just call someone to come to my room and shake me to my senses. Well, when I wanted to shout out I realized my throat was numb too. I couldn't say a word if my life depended on it. Well at that point I started to panic and I mean PANIC :) I can't explain how much I screamed in my head and wanted to move but couldn't. And the bloody bug was still there. About ten minutes later I realized I could move my pinkie finger on my right arm and that calmed me a bit but for those ten minutes I really thought I was going the Stephen Hawking way. Later I found out apparently that sometimes happens when you wake up only half way.
-----------------
The second one was a nightmare I had. I was walking along a road that was lined with tall trees. A beautiful day, sunny and all that crap. Well suddenly I feel something is following me. I turn around and in the trees I see a dark shadow. Somehow that doesn't scare me and I just keep walking down the road. But every so often I keep turning around and see this shadow getting closer and closer. So when it's really close like almost on top of me I start getting scared. Now it starts covering me in darkness and I realize I'm loosing my breath and start gasping for air. And just when I'm about to pass out I wake up. I was totally covered in sweat and gasping for air.
----------------
The last one isn't so creepy as it is embarrassing. I usually really like to scare my girlfriend every chance I get. Have no clue why, I just find it hilarious. Well one time she decided to get me back. She hid in a dark room when I went to brush my teeth before going to bed. When I came back I thought she already fell asleep so I wen't in really quietly. I really concentrated not to make a noise or bump into something in the darkness. Well she was there ready with some fuck up face and jumped out from behind the door. I am sorry to admit I screamed like a little girl, my heart almost stopped. To this day she still laughs at me for that scream :))))

Hmm... only one really creepy thing has happened to me. A couple years ago I spent a week of summer up at the lake with my dad, stepmother, and our three dogs. One day near the end of the week they both left to run some errands while I stayed with the dogs. I decided it was boring staying up in the house, so I grabbed a book and a dog to take down with me to the dock. I tied the dog up near the end of the dock so she could watch all the boats go by and right as I stand up from kneeling and tying her up, I hear the sound of one of our plastic chairs scraping across the wooden dock (all our chairs were indoors). I turn around to check it and nothing was there. I turn back around and right as I hear my normally quiet dog start whimpering, I swear something shoved me. I lost my balance and fell over into the water, banging my head first on the top of the metal ladder we have attached to the dock for swimmers. Next thing I know, I'm on my dock, soaking wet, with my neighbor frantically calling my dad. Seems I blacked out after hitting my head and the water but my neighbor who was working on his boat next door saved me o_O I didn't go near the water without anyone nearby for the rest of the week.

My friend and I went ghost hunting one night in an old cemetery in a nearby town. Around 1am, after an uneventful evening, we decided to call it quits. We packed up the camera and headed back to my car. Just as I was about to start the car, I heard a loud, nearby bark, as though there was a large dog standing behind the car. I wasn't familiar with the place and thought it might be a neighbor's dog or something. We both got out to check, but we couldn't find a single trace. There was no sign of any other creature in the area, no tracks in the dirt besides our own, and no more barking after that one. We left quickly, deciding that it was probably a nearby family's pet. The next week, my friend asked someone who lived in the area about the neighborhood and whether anyone had dogs. No one near the cemetery for 3 miles had a dog.

I was at a camp with my friend. we were in our tent about midnight, and we hear howling. Thing was, they were close. The Camp supervisor guy said that the outhouses would have been further away.

Another creepy thing, is that when my parents arnt home (especially when my sister isn't there either) I hear the floor creaking like when someone walks on it, sounds of cars driving up the laneway, the phone ringing, and worst of all, my Mom calling my name.... no joke
I hear people calling my name all the time! Sometimes at night, sometimes during the day...
Once in town i kept hearing it for over an hour and none of my mates could 0_o
So i dropped to my knees and shouted "WHAT DO YOU WON'T FROM ME!"

My mates are reluctant to take me to town now...

Well, when I was 5 I thought that there were werewolves in the kitchen at 1 A.M. It turnd out to be just some (undead) fish my mom bought from the marker(I could have sworn that they were dead and not moving when she brought them home).

As for a more WTF thing: a month after reading the 5th Harry Potter book, I suddenly woke up(I must have been dreaming about it), and saw the ghost of Daniel Radcliffe in front of me for a second. I'm not kidding I actually saw him(that freaked me out). I do believe it was a post nightmare image(if that's what they call them).

Nothing paranormal or anything. Just back then before my room was redecorated and the furniture was moved I sometimes freaked out over the life-sized poster of the Joker at night. I should get a Batman poster to compensate for it.

Seeing a face at my window while playing a game.

I freaked out, went white and ran out of the room. When I came back, it was gone and there was no sign of anyone outside. No foot prints, no nothing.
No fucking way! Being completely serious, the same thing happened to me. This one time two years ago I was watching TV and in my peripheral vision there was a window and for a second I saw a face staring at me. I damn near shat my pants. I ran outside...no one there. Idk if it was the mind playing tricks or if someone really was there.
Man, you guys be wicked-delusional, yo!

Also, I have nothing else to contribute, really. I don't remember anything creepy happening to me, and even if it has, it's probably me just being paranoid when I'm alone at home, and something moves outside or inside.

Well, I was at my cousin's house, which her parents had inherited on her Dad's side. Her grandfather (her Dad's father) had died upstairs in his study... which was the room we were sleeping in. As we were sleeping, the radio went off as loud as it could go, without any alarm or anything. It was about 2:40 something in the morning and the first thing that was on the radio was "Well, yes, of course supernatural things exist. They try to show us all the time. You just have to listen."

I was absolutely terrified and refused to move. I woke up my cousin, who had surprisingly slept through it (she's a light sleeper) and she crawled out of bed murmuring and turned off the radio. When I checked it in the morning it wasn't even plugged in! She promised she hadn't unplugged it.... I don't go upstairs at night any more.

Well, something that keeps on occurring to me. Each and every time the clock passes six, and I'm all alone at home, I keep hear the news from the television in the living room.

And each and every time I go over to see if it's turned on, It's not.
When I walk away, I still hear a slight sound from the news anchor.

IF IT'S A PRANK, I'M NOT AMUSED DAMN IT!
lol creepy yet funny just sit in the room with the tv with a gun and see what happens
Probably the parents coming home, first jumping in fright as they see a 17 year old nut job at the sofa with a gun, glaring insanely at the TV.

Well, maybe not a gun, as it's hard to acquire... Maybe a kitchen knife. Yeah...
Haha awesome! :) tell me how it goes ^^

There was some asshole looting all the empty houses in my neighborhood for a while. I didn't really care since he wasn't armed, my house is secure, and my parents would put some hurt on his ass. One night I was at the computer and I look out the window and see a face looking at me. I freaked out, but then I realized it had to be the thief and he was only breaking in empty houses, so I just closed all the windows and shades and tried to relax. Then I realized I was on the second floor and spent the rest of the night curled up in the corner.

Another more mundane one. You know how sometimes when you're trying to fall asleep you randomly feel like you're falling and get jolted awake? Well that happens to me almost every other night. But sometimes, it's accompanied by voices screaming in pain or yelling my name. I know it's in my head, but it scares the living piss out of me.

Once, I was walking home from a good buddy's house, and I heard a car behind me, it started getting louder and louder, until I looked behind me, and a car was speeding towards me. I blinked, and it was gone.

When I was super young, I could remember a silhouette that looked like my mother (no worries, she's alive) coming over to hug me. I always hugged back cause I thought it was my mother, but she disappeared before she got within arms reach. This was all in the dark, like in the middle of the night, and I guess I was seeing shit. Which isn't very creepy when you think of it that way.

Me and some friends used to do alot of "Urban Exploration" around 4 years ago. Explore abandoned areas and buildings etc. We had heard about an old house that weren't too far away from the city we lived in, which was in the middle of the forest far away from where people actually lived and apparently there was no current owner to it.

Often places like these are used by homeless people or junkies which we were prepared for when we went there, but at the same time doubted as it was so far away from everything. Took awhile to find too, no path or anything leading to it, just like it was airlifted into the woods which in itself looked creepy. Anyway, we carefully made our way closer to it and eventually went inside. It was a pretty small house but had two floors, not much furniture left and it didn't look like anyone had been there in a long time. Now the creepy part, we took pictures, the last one we took was just before we left posing infront of the house. Once the pictures had been developed (didn't use a digital camera)we saw on the last picture we took, someone looking out one of the windows on the second floor, male with a gaunt face, didn't look like your average hobo, just with a neutral look on his face looking down at us, really really freaked me out as we didn't see anyone there not even remotely close to the building, sure as hell not inside as we looked through everything. Just the thought of someone hiding in there while we were wandering around inside still gets my heart pumping.

I wish I had the picture to show here as it kinda is a "screenshots or it didn't happen". But yeah, believe it or not. Should have had the pic scanned though.

Does this freak you the hell out?

There are many accounts of people being visited by creepy figures not unlike those related in this thread, variously termed Men in Black, Grinning Men or Shadow People. I myself, in the moment between sleep and waking, saw just for a second, two tall, dark, faceless figures standing next to my bed. I blinked and they were gone. Probably dimension-shifting aliens come to study us less advanced beings for their equivalent of a school science project ;)

Pareidolia? When your mind insists on finding recognisable things (faces/human forms) in shadows or random shapes. Possible that a passing car or something cast light on your window and made a shape suggestive of a face?
Perhaps, but my window faced towards the woods where there were no lights anywhere and it was dark in my room at the time.

I forget what I was playing, but I was up really late, laying back in my recliner when I look down at my arm and notice
just sitting on my sleeve. Naturally, like the tough, manly man I am, I jumped the fuck up, and started flailing my arm like superman with an inquisitive bird on his wrist. And when it flew off, and landed on the floor, I grabbed the broom and proceeded to psychotically beat the shit out of it.

I have to know - were you not at all tempted to go up to it for a closer look?

Fuck No! I was terrified and I ran. Once I came back and didn't see anything, yeah, I took a look, but that's when I couldn't find any trace of anything.

When I was alone in my room and I heard REALLY heavy breathing and I held my breath and it was still going OR when I went to a large abandoned house in Mexico,it was in the middle of a large field and there was all sorts of wierd crap like a grill next to a giant pit of rocks like a REALLY REALLY big pile of rocks where my cousin then said a story where the then-owner of the house got drunk one day and went to the grill where he fell and died. (NOTE: I was 5 at the time, but I still find it scary) Then, me and brother went inside the house. It sort of was like an outdoor house because all the doors were either glass doors or GONE! and we didn't bother going actually inside the house just through the "hallway" and there we found a small black bag hanging, inside we found the most BADASS aviator glasses I had ever seen (now that I thought about it) and I guess it was a reward but DAMN was the entrance gate to the house scary as HELL! It's like something you would see in a cheap horror movie, except it was real. Fuckin' hell, every once in awhile I have a nightmare of the drunk owner falling down the pit.
