OK I get the whole lust thing but why a Giant Penis Monster? Think about it the majority of gamers are male and won't want to see of fight a Giant Penis Monster. This sounds like the type of game I would be embarrassed to play.

And I'm going to say that they are just trying to hard to create a memorable gaming moment. They're going to put something totally outlandish into the game just to freak the player out. And because it is so strange it will leave a significant impression in the players mind. So if you just want people to remember your game then it works. But you'd think they would want people to remember their game for it's epic storyline or amazing gameplay, instead of a demon that cockslaps you to death.

Also, can someone explain to me what is "AWESOME" about a demon with a giant dick?

I dont see the hype of Dante's inferno.
I have not read the epic poem (and I should) but it seems like they are just saying.

"ok a guy goes through all the levels of hell...how do we make that more EXTREME!"

Why dont we just make a game about 1984 where Winston Smith overthrows the oppressive government with an Kalashnikov in one had and his tattered credibility in the other.

Maybe Im judging this game way too harshly, but when I hear that im going to get attacked by a penis in one level I tend to get snarky.

If someone could please show me a reason I should get hyped for this game I will shut my big trap but until then Dante's inferno will stay in my "probably wont buy" category.

i find it horrible that this can cause enough controversy that its actually convincing people to buy it, or not buy it...

its just a penis, and yet the only other game i can think of (besides some ridiculous sex games like bonetown xD) that actually features one is GTA4:TLAD...
...so i dont know wether to hate it for the amount of attention it seems to be getting, or respect it for including one...

I hope somewhere in all this hype we get to learn how long the game will be, and wether it even plays well... you know, the stuff that actually matters? ...so far all ive heard is that its basically GOW... which makes it both short and a single playthrough... not good :\
