Also, why would the Doctor say about using a red pen if it wasn't vitally important? You may be onto something there!
So she's have to look for a red pen and find the ringbox.
Silly.
But before the Doctor says to use a red pen, she asks him for one. So she would have looked in his jacket pocket whether he said about the pen being red or not

i hope they ditch the whole mighty morphing power daleks thing.
OMG i'm so glad that it's not just me that calls them that.
Its the first thing I thought of when they emerged from their little box, my laughter totally ruined the drama of the moment but I think it was worth it.

Good gods, now I'm all wound up for a big dissapointment.

There's a rumour going around that the Original Cybermen will show up and not the Remade Cybusmen.
And what metal is "the ring" made from? Gold?
I would assume so, why?
Well, the heat exchangers in the original Cybermen can't process one certain type of metal. It's their kryptonite.

Because people are discussing why a pen that is red is important, that is why :p

So the ring could be used as a weapon against them if its made of gold. That certainly does seem to support their appearence, if it goes like that.

Well, if the pen isn't red, it counteracts the Blinovitch Limitation, and the Doctor can't repair it because of the same limitation. That means that he's already experienced something that can't happen. Which means...

"The most feared being in all the cosmos." That has got to be you-know-who

also there's no footage of cybers where there wouldn't be a cybus logo

Snap. That episode did give us the rather awesome moment of Daleks offering tea though.

I don't know why everyone's going on about the red pen. It had to be red as the note the Doctor recieved from Amy was red. So Amy has to write it in red so as not to disrupt the timeline and the Doctor in the past can still recieve it when he gets kicked from the Tardis. Timey wimey ball.

I wish Moffet and the other writers could see what random stuff we pick up on and decide is important :p

If they're good writers and know their fan-base, they would know it would get this sort of reaction.

Damn you stole my post.

I likes this episode anyway, even though we didn't get much of an explanation on the bad... thing? What ever it is.

Anybody else think the ultimate big bad of this season could be Omega?

That would make an interesting twist
Well it would keep with the theme of bringing back old enemies for finales, and with Moffat's wish to not depend solely on the Daleks for drama. Besides, Omega is probably obscure enough that not many people would realise who he is, or pick up on hints of his return, keeping the mystery intact.
