Just the thought of a live action version of DB is covered with the word "suck"...even if the source material is entertaining (I don't like DBZ but I do like DB)
pretty much all live action adaption of anime fail miserably.
the sooner film mackers realise thiss the sonner they will stop dissapionting people who liked the anime and the sooner they will stop offending tha manga writters

I never said they wern't profitable, like all bad films there are enough people who consider anything entertainment who go to see this crap to give the writters, actors dicrectors e.t.c. enough money to buy an entire village (which is about 25 million(no seriously someone was selling an entire village for this much, but i digres). To be profitable films don't have to be good, there just have to be enough stupid people to see them
I use the film "meet the spartans" to prove my point.
It was crap everyone said it was crap, it got no good reviews, but people went to see it and it made hell loads a money
So last night I got really hammered and watched this movie and I have to say.... man oh man... I've seen worse movies (I saw House of the Dead in theaters, after all) but I haven't seen too many. After you get past the terrible dialogue, the mediocre special effects, the nonexistent fighting choreography, you end up still baffled as to how they could've possibly spent $100 MILLION on this thing.
Also, Ernie Hudson was in this, and that's just heartbreaking.
And did it completely pass over everyone that they could've used that final wish to bring back
Is anyone surprissed this movie is a failure? I mean seriously: DBZ live action movie? What's next a live action Ren & Stimpy movie, or maybe an Assie McGee film (though thinking about it Assie McGee on the silver screen would be quite entertaining).
a bunch of talentless hacks with studio money slapped together a big steaming pile of baffling garbage that fails utterly on every possible level and will please no one at all.
If you REALLY WANNA GET PISSED OFF, watch the videos I play at the beginning and the end. I made people CRY with that original Dragonball anime footage from Toonami. XD

The problem is that such a movie only has limited niche appeal, and they seem to have tried their best to annoy that one particular niche that would want to view this movie.
Well I was expect as much but no matter what my excuse would be my friends are still going to force me to go see it. God kill me now. but oh well I guess it can't be helped that they had to choose some of the worse case scenario actors for the movie that had as much potential as Vista did 5 years ago.

And it's being done by Spielburg, Lord of "Take a Sci-Fi setting use only the BAREST of resemblence to the plot, themes, or characters. And then insert your own stuff"
Does that mean I can't touch my copies?
*sniff* I was looking forward to watching those tonight...
On Topic: Jesus, that sounded so bad that my brain hurt while reading it. Quick question did you actually pay to watch that movie, or did you do what you should have done and snuck in to deprive them of money?
