Physical Appearance: Aiber is caucasian, with a tall and skinny but not quite lanky build. His hair is dark brown and he likes to keep it cut short, but it is useualy kind of greasy since he bathes maybe 3 times a week. When he isn?t in a pilot suit, the only thing he wears is dark blue jeans and sneakers with a dark T-shirt and black casual sports coat, topped by a black trim-cut fedora.
Bio/History: When Aiber was born as the son of an American national guard Colonel, he was admitted to the Neo-Spartan program as soon as he came of age. He was subjected to harsh tests and training and he ended up secluding himself whenever he could get away. His only real friend was his Eva, which he began calling Charles, after the main character of a book he read. His isolation from other people in general and his age especially, coupled with the constant merging and experimenting with Charlie led to the boy and the monster having an odd kind of bond. Sadly though, Aiber became depressed and the only time anyone ever saw him was when he was in training. Eventually his mental health became a concern so a security camera was installed in his room. The very next day he pulled out a hand-gun in plain view of the camera. His ?Handler?, a man named Issac Brown, came to talk him down so the security guards wouldn?t have to detain him. The moment Issac came in the room; Aiber took him hostage and attempted to escape. A few minutes later he was tazed and detained.
He was labeled un-fit for service and taken out of the program, just like he had planned. All the time he was in his room he was thinking of ways to be free, and he had done it. Then his dad used his connections to ensure that nothing further was done to his son (mainly to avoid the public exposure of driving a kid to hostage taking). However, when it came to the Eva?s, Aiber?s future was not over. Nerv was looking for recruits and due to certain circumstance (partially involving the ?Aiber Incident?) none of their children were ready; so they handed over Aiber to easy their problems, when really, they were giving up one of their smartest pilots.

Soul: Charlie is surprisingly docile for an Eva. Most of what it knows and what it is came from its contact with Aiber. The two have a close relationship that shifts depending on the circumstances. At the best of times when there is no immediate threat or special circumstance, Charlie and Aiber have a relationship like that of a boy and an adopted dog that used to be stray, which is to say Charlie is wary, but very trusting of Aiber. When in combat or in times of excitement, Charlie and Aiber are like very close friends working together. They both depend on each other in different ways.
Misc: Charlie?s serial number has .5 in it because it was originally supposed to be a work-in-progress project, but when it performed so well with Aiber they never continued past the .5 model.
Didn't see that. Naut131, can you PM me before you wildly alter the course of events like that? Your posts on your character's past and projection of his brother are fine, but the sirens weren't sounding yet and the Angel wasn't anywhere near Nerv HQ. In all the writings, I didn't read closely enough. Sorry.
