Playing Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on Sith Master difficulty. Playing as Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker is pretty damn cool, but even that didn't make the game bearable for longer than ten minutes at a time.

The problem is that your character is so slow to respond. When he gets knocked down, he'll often flail around on the ground for a full five seconds. It doesn't sound like a long time, but in a big brawl, that's ample time for the enemy to score a few cheap hits, and on Sith Master difficulty, that's all it takes to get killed.

Then you get to stupid Maris Brood who can kill you with one combo, and you're just like, "I'm done." Brutal, man.

I have a good one but sadly few will probably know what i'm talking about. Kingdom under fire the crusaders ( not that circle of doom crap, the true rts for xbox.) Theres a level where you have to fight off swarms of encomblossa (look it up) for literally 15 miniutes, and you have 3 different squads of troops. 100 men defending a weak ass castle wall versus a never ending onslaught of thousands, this is NOT sparta. Hard as hell.....

Recently, I picked up The Conduit. There's this one part where you have to escape from this Trust guy (for painfully predictable reasons, I might add) And you are constantly being bombarded by drones from the 4 conduits inside this building. Took me so damn long to get passed that part, and even after you destroy all those conduits and a chopper is about to save your ass, some more drones jump out of the water.

Damn that game.

I hate how in most action/ beat 'em ups like ninja gaiden there will be moments where you get hit by one enemy, only to immediately get hit by another enemy, and another enemy, ect. with no chance to escape it until it's taken away 90% of your health.

Tie between:

-The last dungeon in Final Fantasy IV DS (the other versions don't count; the DS one was significantly tougher), where some battles just literally relied on luck regardless of your level.

-The final boss fight of No More Heroes, which requires 20+ minutes of nonstop concentration and the horrible consequence of having to start from the very beginning if you lose.

-Jumpin' Jack Flash on Hard Rock mode in Elite Beat Agents. For those of you less versed in EBA terminology, that's the hardest song on the hardest difficulty. It literally took me probably 7 hours of dedicated playing to finally get past it. When I would get close to finishing, I'd start getting nervous and I might accidentally tap when I didn't mean to, which is more or less a game-ender.

I don't know how many people will agree with me but, Skate.

It was a good game, and I had no real problems with the majority of the game. I always found some goals that led to me getting a photoshoot for one of the magazines, but now...

I just need to get the cover of either Skate Magazine or Thrasher, but the only goals I have left are either video shoots, or deathraces. I CAN'T BEAT THEM!

I don't know if I just suck at the game, I never thought I did before because I always beat the goals fairly easily (though some took some retries), but all of a sudden the difficulty curve hit me like a brick wall.

Did anyone else notice this, or do I just suck?

This can be a annoying level, a design issue, anything that you feel is very frustrating in a game.

i will start off and say some stuff about Nazi zombies..... did they send in our weakest soliders? without juggernaut you die in 2 hits from a zombie, and sometimes it bugs and you die in 1 hit.
and spending 1 hour of your life to die to something that you die too easily from is very very VERY annoying
I quite enjoy the challenge, especially on the two new maps for Nazi Zombies, where you can acquire the perks to help you out. Although, the one shot knock down can be frustrating when you know it shouldn't have killed you.

On the subject on CoD, its frustrating where somebody refuses to die on multiplayer despite the amount of bullets you put in them. Only for them to turn around and pop one in your head with a pistol.

Poor Collision detection, Catch-up (on race games...Im looking at you outrun ¬¬) & Games where you have to go back & play the same level again in a slightly different fashion (a La Force Unleashed).

Personally, the most frustrating thing i found recently (apart from the force unleashed, which im repressing) was grasping Moto GP...Which was annoying as hell at first, but now i love it :D

Ninja'd. A good amount of the levels in Jak 2 annoyed the crap out of me, i.e. escort missions, racing missions, the damn Wack-a-mole mission. However, it's still one of my favorite games of all time. Go figure.
What about that mission where you gotta destroy three of those spider bots before they reach the underground base in the slums, but they're all heavily armored like demigods and spaced apart like China and Kansas, all the while being chased by crimson douches

ya that one sucks but i hate the speeder race with errol because driving the speeder is like reversing a flying garbage truck while your drunk and youv got a bunch of your drunk freinds backseat driving and your wearing a blindfold and boxing gloves

Well first off i would have to say people who camp you in games while they are in a group of at least 3-5 and its just you.
Secondly... episode 4 in the original doom on ultra violent or nightmare mode. Laugh if you want but unless you can beat it without a single problem every time theres no point in making fun of me. As is im still working on the muscle memory to get through it every time.
