No, it isn't. If "getting laid" is the highlight of your week, you need to rethink your life, or get one. That's pretty pathetic when you value something like sex above all else.
Yeah... sex is the point of life dude. It is the reason we are here. Name one better feeling.
Not to be a prick but honestly, that comment could only come from someone who has either a complete and utter crap lay or has never experienced it before.
Anyway on topic. Not a gamer but someone asked if I played Warhammer as I "looked the type"...
So long hair and glasses automatically = warhammer geek? Don't get me wrong, I am one but still.
I have experienced sex, yes, and it was a pretty nice. But it isn't the greatest. You can live without it.
I could rant for days at that first point you made, but I'll try and keep it short. Sex -or reproduction to better define the subject, as I am sure that is what you meant- is NOT the reason we are here. It is NOT your duty to reproduce and pass on half your genome. You are only hurting the human race if you reproduce, considering our global population. Give it a few more decades, and we will be able to simply create human life as we do clones, except instead of copied DNA, we will be using a preselected assortment of genes that will create a near-perfect human in terms of his genetic code. We will even be able to create artificial wombs, we've done it for other animals already.
That comment came from someone who can see the sexual reproduction becoming obsolete in the near future, and someone who has moved beyond the boyish outlook that sex is everything, and the thing we should be hunting for the second we wake up in the morning. I understand if you have a high testosterone count and can't help it, but at least realize and admit you are a slave to your hormones, and that sex, outside of reproduction, serves no purpose -other than to bond, but there are better ways- and should not be sought after within the human species as it is in, say, an insect, who does not live very long and whose sole purpose IS to reproduce, as insect populations are often J-curve populations.
