Dragon Age: Origins. I just really dislike the controls. It feels so awkward to control. I'm sure a more-experienced RPG veteran would wholeheartedly disagree.
I sure was! I enjoyed blowing shit up all the way to the end. I couldn't care less about the story, but turns out I couldn't quite care more about ramping my jeep through a second story and on top of various bad guys.SailorShale said:Red Faction Guerrilla. I hated it to being with, but decided to be fair and actually played it. It was horrible, I couldn't make it past the 3rd mission. Bad story, poor gameplay. It was nothing but "Blow things up! Blow things up! Hahahahah, aren't you having fun with our gimmick?!!?"

LO was just produced by the guy who created FF. It was developed by Mistwalker and published by SE but you always want to do research with this sort of thing with games and movies. If it says "from the people who brought you" or "brought to you by" then be suspicious. These are industery buzz words to make you think that the same people who worked on the other thing that you liked worked on this as well. Be cautious friend and be informed.Hobo Joe said:Lost Odyssey, I've thought highly of Final Fantasies in the past and, as this was from the same creators I thought it may have been good. I was wrong.
A crappy FPS? It was a third person game >_> It didn't have as much of an RPG element, so it wouldn't cut off a large proportion of people who don't like RPGs.Stormz said:snipSprizmo said:snipPsychosocial said:snip
I couldn't get into Mass effect either. It felt to much like a crappy fps with a watered down skills system to make it look like it's an rpg.
god that game was horrible control wise plus it doesn't help that it's a collection of boring and samey minigames can't believe anyone else bought that (i bought it as a present for my family as a christmas present since i'm cheap)hurfdurp said:Fusion Frenzy?
Yeah I know I just say FPS because I'm used to it.JAWZxZ said:A crappy FPS? It was a third person game >_> It didn't have as much of an RPG element, so it wouldn't cut off a large proportion of people who don't like RPGs.Stormz said:snipSprizmo said:snipPsychosocial said:snip

In my defense, I played it at a friends house. I guess it's also a candidate for 'Worst Christmas Present Ever'tjcross said:god that game was horrible control wise plus it doesn't help that it's a collection of boring and samey minigames can't believe anyone else bought that (i bought it as a present for my family as a christmas present since i'm cheap)hurfdurp said:Fusion Frenzy?
