Games you're tired of hearing praise for?

Half Life 2. I didn't think the game was that good at all. Nothing in the "plot" is explained at all, you are required to have played the first one to know wtf is going on.


Portal. Its a decent puzzle game, but hardly revolutionary.

Team Fortress 2. *yawn* A.V.A. is a much more interesting and fun FPS.

Minecraft. This game is incredibly boring. And the "retro" graphics don't do it for me.

World of Warcraft. Will people just shut up about it already?

Counter Strike. Should have died years ago.

Slim Jims. I will never eat one of these "meat sticks" again.

Slim Jims is not a game so it does not belong. How is MineCraft hyped? It's a critically acclaimed, one man programmed indie game and had a planned update and a half price sell. That's not really hype.

I won't mention any of the source games, because in my head they've all coalesced into one amorphous blob under the Source banner. A magnificent amorphous blob, of course, with each flaw meeting up with its counterpart strength.

So I guess I'll go with the *single* shooting game that's been released repeatedly over the past few years, with either a different title, company name or number written on the box. You know, there was a big controversy about it.

FF7. There's too many people in Ohio who are still sucking a golf ball through a garden hose for that game.

Legend Of Zelda. Only Two games in the entire series took a risk.

Street Fighter. I can't stand why people go crazy over a game that essentialy promotes being cheap to win. It's sickening to me. Especially after playing Bushido Blade 1&2

Dragon Age-got nothing against it, just sick of hearing about it.
Bioshock-good, but we get it; stfu already.
Assassin's Creed 1 & 2- I don't give 2 shits about this game and I'm sick of hearing about it.
StarCraft II- really just jealous b/c my crappy computer can't play it. lol

If that's the only game your computer won't let you play, be thankful. Mine is unable to play any game at all besides Homeworld, and it can only play that because it's 11 years old. It's fucking annoying, Minecraft won't run, Tribes 2 won't run, etc.

I can just barely play WoW. League of Legends looks like crap and MineCraft plays at 1fps. Starcraft 1, however, runs just fine.
