sometimes I feel whatever you choose you will be looked down on by some group.
Pardon my language. Fuck what everyone else thinks. Find someone who agrees with you, marry em, and live happily-ever-after.

If you live your life doing what you think will please others, you'll just end up hurting yourself. Do what makes you happy, so long as it doesn't hurt someone else.

My mum is a Chinese A level teacher at a private school and she earns quite a bit.

Actually, it's quite weird because it's usually me who does all the housework and makes the meals.

You know, these high-falutin' thoughts were just put in your head by the Divil to keep you from cooking.

No..But in all seriousness, there really should be more shades of gray when it comes to this.
I'd have to say the feminists annoy me more, though.
I think men have become used to the fact that women are also human, but the average feminist rhetoric still has it that if you have children, care for them or cook, you're some kind of traitor to your sex.

You can't put all feminists in one box like that. Different feminists have different endgames. Many of those endgames include among other things the championing of men's rights.

why would you need to even identify yourself as a feminist if you simply believe in gender equality?
Because the definition of feminism is this:

1. Belief in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.
2. The movement organized around this belief.

In England that is the norm. Both parents work, and get on with their own individual careers.

I would personally love to be kept and looked after by a girl as a pet (as in be a stay-at-home husband I mean), however I know in the depths of my heart that this is never going to happen with my luck, so I have to get my butt in gear :p.

Not everybody has the same outlook on life, and you should just be yourself and find an environment (and partner) that suits your tastes. From my point of view there are a lot more things to be concerned with than who's bringing home the bacon.

If this post offends anybody please inform me. I don't mean to upset people, I just have... certain tastes. Ones that probably shouldn't even be discussed on a semi anonymous board such as this.

Oh and reading through the replies...

That is simply a dictionary definition. It's got nothing to do with reality. And the reality is that feminists are mostly unconcerned with gender equality. It isn't enough to say that you're for equality, you actually have to demonstrate it.
Since you're into people demonstrating things, how about you demonstrate to me that feminists are "mostly unconcerned with gender equality" (don't forget to include references to credible sources) because I don't believe that for a nanosecond.

As a married man, I will weigh in a little. My wife works, and I am a stay at home dad. And, it's hard. I can imagine it would be tough for a woman just as much as a man trying to raise two kids and be with them all day, every day. I've gotten tons of flack for our decision as well, even I work myself, just only on weekends.

My wife says she would never want to stay at home all the time and would be bored stiff, and it would be a waste of her schooling and such.

But it's proven that when a woman becomes the provider for a man and his family, she becomes less attracted to him for not being more masculine, so she cheats on him, or just leaves them, so that's why men don't want women to be powerful, because you won't need us anymore, so it's equally a man and a woman's fault.
1)Proof of proof please.

2)Way to blanket all career women as cheating, shallow whores. Dipshit.
1) Here is your Proof: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1205139/The-men-transforming-female-hybrids-dab-hands-dusting.html?ITO=1490

2) I did NOT say call career women were cheating, shallow whores, and calling me dipshit gets you reported, have a nice day =]
You just quoted the Daily Mail. You, sir, have failed epically. Utterly, totally, completely...there are not words to describe how grotesque and epic a fail that is.

Then you are not paying attention, or you don't know what to look for because your perspective has been distorted by feminism.
Proof that feminists are "mostly unconcerned with gender equality" and credible references, please.

That's because the divorce rates skyrocket when the woman is the breadwinner.
