To this day, I still think that Atlantis: the Lost Empire was the most underrated (but also the most badass) movie Disney has ever made.

Nah, Once Upon A Time In Mexico was only good when Johnny Depp was on-screen, the rest of it was a bit meh, "I can't see, fucknook, I have no eyes". From Dusk Til Dawn was awesome though, "I NEVER SAID HELP US!" "Well that doesn't matter because you've got about 3 fuckin' seconds to live." (I thought it better to use that quote than the 'pussy list' from one of Cheech Marin's 3 roles in the film).
Eh, I loved the whole movie. Especially the pistolero sequence, and of course Danny Trejo, small as his role may be. After I saw this movie, I watched the other two parts of the trilogy and it's really too bad that Salma Hayek had such a small roll in the third.

I have to agree that Depp did steal the show. He's my favourite actor and just seems to fit in every single role they throw at him. I thought Rodriguez said something about making an Agent Sands trilogy, which would've been great, but I doubt that will happen now.

From Dusk Till Dawn was great. I bought it then sat down with my parents to watch it without telling them what it's about. Should've seen their faces when the plot twist occured.

I'd go with Serenity. Although its status as an underrated movie is probably overrated. Erm.

Also, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home was highly underrated in my opinion.

I have another one! The Prestige from Christopher Nolan. Everyone knows The Dark Knight and Batman Begins, but The Prestige is really really great. Some people don't like the ending, but doesn't change that it's great.

It's about two rival magicians in the Victorian age(or something close to it), as both try to out do each other and leave the other in the dirt. And in the mix you have crazy Tesla SCIENCE!

Oh and the best part? It's better than the book it's based on.

Seriously go watch The Prestige.
You crazy ninja, I JUST finished watching this movie for the first time.

Get out my head.

I've said this one a lot but I still think it should be mentioned.
IN BRUGES

I cannot stress this one enough. That was the greatest movie I have ever seen.

It was cool because it had whales...

Equalibrium was underrated, It feels like a combination of the matrix and farenheit 451, but everything is done awesomely, and gun katas are the most badass way to kill an entire room of people single-handed ever.

A LOT of these movies aren't underrated. A couple are under-watched, sure, but most here aren't underrated.

OT: I just watched a movie called The Brothers Bloom that didn't get a wide release despite the fact that it's full of quirky humour and heart. I'm surprised that it never did get anything more than its current cult following.
Wooo I love this movie! My underrated is Battle Royale, don't know anybody who's heard of it, but since you guys are movie buffs most likely, I bet you have.
What a coincidence! I referenced a movie that you loved and you referenced a movie that I loved! I have seen over 2500 movies in my life and Battle Royale sits snugly in my top 15 of all time! I'm dreading the American remake though. It was derailed by the writer's strike but that doesn't mean that it's gone for good. I figure it's inevitable that it will get made.

Both of these films are amazing! I actually recently bought the Starship Troopers trilogy on account of not seeing the second two before. Can see why everybody dislikes the later ones :p But yeah, the first is insane.
I don't count the third one, It's a shame, even if compared to B rated Si-Fi channel movies...
