Well when dragon age came out I left school early to play it. And since Mass Effect comes out next Wednsday here I am contemplating being sick. I only have one class for two hours that day. But it is the first week of the semester. As it stands the little devil on my shoulder is saying "Do it do it!!! it's totally worth it!!!" And the little angel is saying " Yea he makes a very good point. I say go with him on this one." I'm just happy I have no class friday. >

Back in School/College yes. I'm a smart guy, I managed to catch up fine, besides almost everyone does it. Seriously think of how many people pull sick days when popular releases are out. Modern Warfare 2, GTA IV, you get the idea. Especially the people who go to the midnight launches.

There was this person that worked at a diner I used to work at, who would leave early all the time because his WoW guild had a raid that night... Leaving me with a shit ton of work to do...

I was so happy when they finally canned his ass...

Even happier when his room mates canned his ass from the house for not having a job.

Some might not understand why I was overly happy at him getting the boot from the house... I guess I'm just a sadist when it comes to idiots being idiots...

(and no I don't mean the type of sadist that gets sexual gratification from that sort of thing... Thought I should clear that up ahead of time.)

Someone in my school called in a bomb threat so he could go home early and play halo 3 the day of it's release. I was not happy, I had to have my car searched before I could go home over TWO hours after school was supposed to be over.

I have sick days all the time but it is only so I don't have to go in to college. The fact that I then spend the day playing PC games dosnt count because it wouldn't bother if I could or couldn't.
