@Trivun: I don't think this thread is meant to condone men who enjoy watching 'lesbian action', that's just the porn industry. This thread is to condone men who enjoy 'lesbian action' then turn around and hate gay men or unattractive lesbians.
...I hope to GOD you mean condemn. Not condone. or you're just taking everything I've said the opposite of what I intended.
Yeah I did, sorry. Its late, I mixed up my words.

If a man could say why he feels its gross rather than 'it's dude on dude' and 'it's gross', it might help. People can't understand how a male thinks if the male can't understand why he thinks as he does.
Men don't understand how females think, just act. Both sexes keep secrets from each other.
You've inadvertently stumbled across what I believe is one of the most significant problems with people today: they don't understand themselves. Aversion to gay behavior is just one of countless personality traits that float around, totally unexplored.

I believe the Battle of the Sexes is partially a byproduct of this greater problem. How can men understand women when they don't even fully understand themselves, and vice versa?

Yeah... Because I actually didn't say anything directly relevant last time, I do have to say it does seem highly hypocritical.

And really, if you think two women together is hot, it's probably because you're thinking something that has no relation to reality. XD.

(at least, not to any reality that involves real lesbians.)

It is actually really funny since these people who love lesbians but hate gays as long as they are tolerant of your point of view then really they are better than you.
How does that make ya feel huh?
In personal experiences, the ones that hate gays but like lesbians usually aren't tolerant of other people's point of view.
It makes me feel the same.

I'm a heterosexual and I don't even mind seeing two guys kissing. In fact, I think it's rather sweet. One of my best friends is openly gay and he and his boyfriend kiss in public(And I live in Texas FFS). Granted, they do it around people who are generally okay with it... their friends and such.

As for the hypocrisy, allow me to quote a 14-yr-old boy that I once spoke to on the topic.

Ignorant 14-yr-old said:
"...It's different with two women. With two guys, they're havin' sex with each other's butts. With girls, what can they do? Play with each other's boobies, that's it..."
To which I mentioned cunnilingus and then he proved his lack of knowledge. I told him to look it up on the computer.

I say it boils down to ignorance, especially about sexual acts. For some reason, most straight men associate anal sex with pain, possibly from one too many movies involving prison-rape. They lack the understanding of the human anatomy that makes it possible to achieve pleasure.

Also, that one Bible-verse: "...not to lay with a man as one lays with a woman..." is taken a bit out-of-context nowadays. Back then, if you had anal sex with a man... you were pretty much fucked(both literally and figuratively) because of the poor sanitation and such they had back then. As I've mentioned before, most of the Old Testament laws were based upon health concerns...

Also, the thought of it being okay for lesbians. I think that it follows the logic of 'two vaginas are better than one', but personally... I think I prefer normal porn over lesbian porn.

Homosexuality... I don't care and neither should any of you. The only people who care are caring because their "leaders" care. Screw all of you. If you have a problem go look at some porn so you can feel better about yourself. I have homosexual friends who I care dearly for, I am not homosexual or bisexual, but I'm still okay with people who are, and i find them far more fun to hang around then the failures who sit there and tell them how wrong they are for doing it. Anywho, just be more open minded to things that brings Humanity closer together. The Bible has always been there to point us in the right direction, and I think humans have made it abundantly clear that a minority of us actually pay attention to it. God Bless.

" As such, I ask you Escapist. Have you seen this behaviour? Is it justified, at all?"

It really -REALLY- depends on the context.

For example, if it's just a bunch of shits/giggles, I really don't care, and I'm extremely sensitive about most things. I don't jump on neutral-minded people because they offend my views unintentionally...I find that to be hypocritical and moral-high-horse like.

That said, if people are -SERIOUS- about this (people who actually seriously condemn homosexuality with a jerk-ass attitude, and then support chick on chick action)...then yeah, those people are just kind of stupid.

Well, it ain't all sunshine and daisies the other way around; I have a gay friend who was talking to a friend (girl). Here's part of the conversation.

GIRL: Hey, you're gay, right?

GUY: Yes, why?

GIRL: Cool, you guys make the best porn.

I agree with you entirely, but there are other examples than the bleeding obvious.

This is what I'm on about. I've seen it more than once, actually asked people if they are serious, and they are. Makes me want to grab a twatting stick.

A male brain is a simple thing. It thinks: if two boobs are good, then four is even better!
Well, I think I can safely say I'm male and I'm fine with two.
Agreed. You only have two hands, after all.

Its a double standard. Like a lot of other things. Like video games and movies. Their is a double standard for what you can include in a movie that you cant in a video game.

With guys it's because with 2 chicks he thinks he might be able to get a threesome out of it.

Where do you live? Backwater Arkansas?

I do not like a lot of gays, the stereotypical gay attitude pisses me off. The campy annoying assholes. That has nothing to do with their sexual preference but the way they act which is completely valid since I hate a lot of different attitudes.
As for gay sex, I think it is gross while lesbian sex is a thing of beauty. That is no different than liking different art styles. One is aesthetically pleasing to me while the other is not. Being called a hypocrite for that is absolute stupidity and just proves that the person labelling me so is intolerant. Would you call someone a hypocrite for liking say classical art but not abstract? Same difference.
But in the same tone I do not have a problem with others liking gays/abstract art.
So that is why all these "you are a hypocrite" threads/arguments are generally bullshit since I am being labelled something offensive for having different tastes in things.
Before I'd moved, the southern part of Ohio.

Though most those types of men were the type that hung out at bars (not trying to stereotype, that's just where I met most of them). At the tattoo shop I worked at, it was never a topic or comment made by people/customers (depending on the shop that can be surprising). The tattoo shop and the bar were side-by-side.

I can understand why a person would like picturing two women over two men for aesthetic purposes, it's why I'd prefer picturing men than women.
But the OP seems to focus more on the people who give no valid reason for liking lesbians but not gays. As in, the people who hate gays because they think the act of sex between two men is gross, and give no other comment than that (some of these people didn't think that men who rape other men in jail were worse than gays). Or those who say 'gay people are gross' and give no further explanation when someone asks them why. Unjustified hatred.
Aesthetics is justified, since it usually means a person doesn't have the problem with the two people or the fact that they are gay ,but the act actual act of sex between them because the imagery doesn't appeal to them.
Attitude is justifiable as well. It's an attitude. If they were straight you'd probably not like them either.

But hating a group of people because they don't have an impact on an individual person sexually is just kind of wrong.

The unfortunate thing is that this attitude is not just prevalent in mainstream society against gays either. More than once I've seen gay-marriage stickers and the like saying "Support Gay Marriage if both chicks are hot."
I feel the need to point out that this is/was a t-shirt design from T-Shirt Hell [http://www.tshirthell.com/hell.shtml]. By their standards it's almost tasteful, you know, since other options include "Rape is no laughing matter - unless you're raping a clown".

Men regularly miss the point that lesbians don't want anything to do with them. There can be no fantasy of joining in: they're going to basically retch and tell you to eff off.

I have seen it occur a lot and I attempt to prevent it. I'm very open minded about these things anyway. Only problem I have is that sometimes some of the best life partners turn to the same sex, leaving you with nothing.
