It is bullshit, I agree.

"Hey. I care what you do behind closed doors that doesn't at all affect me an you shouldn't be doing it. I don't care if no one is hurt any more than 'normal' sex, you shouldn't do it. Oh, wait, unless you're a girl, because that's hot. But if guys do it it's disgusting." It's selfish- wanting others to do everything like you except when it benefits you.

Though, most people I've talked to who are actually opposed to homosexuals/gay marriage oppose both guy-guy and girl-girl.

anti-anti-homosexuality is starting to get on my nerves, even moreso than anti-homosexuality.

its not ok to hate someone for being homosexual, but its totally great to hate someone who hates homosexuals.

I think if everyone-- homosexuals, anti-homosexuals, and anti-anti-homosexuals included-- just took a big ol dose of STFU, in oral, transdermal, and suppository forms, my headache just might go away.

then please apply the same formula to the religion threads.
that or you could take vodka, it'll make your headache go away... for a while.

But in all serriouness I see what you are saying, I have a friend who is litterly on the opposite side of the political spectrum as me, I dont hate him, and he dont hate me, we respect the other's veiws and we thrive on the suff we do have in common... like star wars

@Trivun: I don't think this thread is meant to condone men who enjoy watching 'lesbian action', that's just the porn industry. This thread is to condone men who enjoy 'lesbian action' then turn around and hate gay men or unattractive lesbians.
I understand that. What I'm saying is that I'm one of those who is interested in lesbian porn, but at the same time, I don't hate gay men or unattractive lesbians. What I said in my post is that I have no problem with gay people at all, as long as they don't come onto me, since I'm straight personally. Otherwise, attractive or not, whatever gender they are, gay or straight people can do what they like. The only types of sexuality I don't like are incest and bestiality, after all. I do understand the OP though, completely. I just made a statement that said I disagree with the narrow view that some people have, and thus agree with the OP.

Personally I think both versions of Homosexuality are gross, but I have no qualms with Homosexuals. I just wish they would stop getting mad when I tell them the truth, that most "polar" cases of homosexuality (i.e. completely gay) are caused by brain malformations, wherein the gender in question will have a brain the shape of the opposite sex's.
No evidence for that whatsoever. Provide proof. It is unknown why people are gay or straight, nobody knows yet why some people are gay and some are straight, and there is no proof anywhere yet for any theory on the subject. Hence your point isn't necessarily true. There is no evidence to support your idea that 'brain malformations' are the cause of homosexuality.

I do not object to homosexuality, whether it be between two men or two women. Every human is entitled to love someone, and if they find that love from someone of their own gender, who am I to stop them?

I agree you Labyrinth, it does seem that two women being together are generally more accepted in culture than two men being together. This is because the basic heterosexual (male) viewpoint is that "w0m3n = hawt, so 2 w0m3n = double hawt." This goes both ways. Since heterosexual men are not attracted to dudes the idea of guys being together is revolting to them. Then the slurs and possible violence ensues.

I am not gay but I do not see anything wrong with it. I am a Christian but I don't believe that God would of made people attracted to their own gender if it were unacceptable to him.

There is a condition (Klinefelter Syndrome?) which is a type of genetic mutation that causes a male to have to "X" chromosomes, but this condition is very rare and only a very, very small percentage of male homosexual community would have it.

I don't about "brain malformations", or if opposite sex's even have differently shaped brains, but I do know that the condition I described does exist. Whether a link can be made between this condition and homosexuality is unknown.

This is correct. I have a psychological theorist friend who specializes in sexual deviance, and he assures me that there's absolutely no reliable evidence either way.

This is all well and good, but ranting about it on the internet achieves nothing.

Edit: Alright fine. I'll contribute to the inane ranting.

What concerns me most about sensitive topics is the fact that most people pretend not to be prejudiced and completely lie. Exempli gratium: those who say "I'm fine with [X], with the provision that [X] never comes near me".

That is as hate-mongering as saying something shouldn't be allowed because, according to your unrelenting moral fascism, it is wrong wrong WRONG!!!.

I am guilty of this. Then again I am also (and this is big) LONELY. When you don't have someone of your own you tend to get additional interest from watching two hot girls go at. I am also against gay-marrige though my best friend is a lesbian (sorry guys but the homophobe insult is invalid when used on me). I'm still stuck on the whole Adam and Eve thing and actually if the article on here (somewhere) is to be believed Japan can't really afford homosexuals as their population is dropping. Personally I don't mind hanging out with gay people. So long as they don't try to force it on me it's all good. I never try to force my beliefs on them either (hence why we are still friends).

UUUUGH! That pretty much sums up everybody at my school. (Lucky for me I graduated). Even some of the GIRLS were like that! There was this girl, a friend of a friend's, who said she was bisexual. This was back when Brokeback Mountain was out in theaters, and when we brought it up she went absolutely NUTS about how it was terrible that they're glorifying the gays and whatnot. It was total B.S. And when we brought up her sexual orientation she said it was OK because she was a GIRL. WHAT THE FUCKING HELLLLLL!? Because usually it's said as a joke, right? But she went on for a good fifteen minutes about how terrible it was. It completely blew my mind...

I have even had gay men think I'm cute, and have had to politely decline with the statement: "I like boobs".
So, what do you say to gay men who are able and willing to address that desire?
Hmmm, can't say as that has ever happened to me before, but I know what you are saying. You know what, I dunno. I'd like to say if I was in love, and they had the required parts (whether they were born with them or not), I would be ok....but I can't say for sure.

In the meantime, I will stay with my curvy female companions, for they fill me with much happiness. Just as I do to them.

....
...

Sorry, I know that just sounds bad.
Yeah. Just a little. But then, as one of these people, we don't tend to like to be lumped in with gays generally, because that's not how we see ourselves.

There is question I find myself wanting to ask people with regards to my own situation when they equate it with being gay, and worse, implying that we're trying to trick them as well, by appearing to be something we're not.
(transsexual, if you need it spelled out for you) is this:

Since most of us go through the process of physically changing our bodies, but this process is basically limited by medical technology, the question is, assuming the transformation was 'perfect' (it's not), and we were thus indistinguisable from someone born as our chosen gender, would it still bother people?

What bothers me is that I think the answer for some people would be yes...

Still, that actually has little to do with the OP in this thread. XD.
Oh well.

Stupidity is like The Matrix - it is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window, or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay your taxes.

Also, its totally illogical. If the women are true lesbians, they obviously aren't going to sleep with you. I have several friends that fit your description perfectly, but they're still ok people.

A male brain is a simple thing. It thinks: if two boobs are good, then four is even better!

I don't think that the attitude that you mention above is right, but what can you do? It's how guys work. There are just some things women won't understand about guys and vice-versa. No matter how much you challenge it with valid points such mentality is here to stay. Even straight girls would prefer to imagine this then two gay guys.
I'm not so sure about that. I'd rather imagine two men rather than two women, mainly since I don't usually get along with fellow females that well anyway, and girl-on-girl annoys me. I wouldn't want to see it, since I don't find the female body that attractive (or most of their personalities). Most of the time I just find that the two people are craving attention from males, or are trying to 'shock' people and are neither bi/lesbians or even into each other sexually.

Though, I think most younger women would find that behavior acceptable because women are being portrayed that way more often, most times with the two women being 'straight', 'bi', or 'overly sexual' (or attention whores) so lesbianism doesn't ever really become a label.

You do have valid points but you just don't understand the how males think. Such mentality is here to stay.
That males would feel violated since they are designed more to give than receive? Because men wold rather dominate than be dominated, since they are supposed to be the 'stronger' of the two sexes and would feel threatened by another male? Maybe those men have control issues?

If a man could say why he feels its gross rather than 'it's dude on dude' and 'it's gross', it might help. People can't understand how a male thinks if the male can't understand why he thinks as he does.
Men don't understand how females think, most of the time just how they act. Both sexes keep secrets from each other.
