I wasn't that hard-pressed for names. I just didn't want to name it Bell or Sprout. I blame @ae86gamer she tweeted that she was eating salad, and I laughed at the thought of naming it Salad... So I named it Salad.

Jack and Lilly stood up from the ground brushing dried leaves and grass from their slightly ruffled selves. They smiled at each other. "Promise me you'll always be there Lilly said hugging Jack again. "I promise." He said hugging her back. They both walked back to the group. Brandon smiled as they approached, "Took you two long enough." He said as they blushed, Brandon laughed. "Ahh, c'mon We'll probably get going soon, return," He said holding up their pokeballs. The red light surrounded them as they disappeared into the pokeballs. Brandon chuckled again "Well chances are, I'll have myself a baby Ralts on my hands again before too long."
Magnus had overheard the familiar rustling of Pokemon in the act of coitus, and saw Brandon with a smirk on his face. Magnus walked up to Brandon as he returned the Pokemon emerging from the bushes.
"Did they just..." Magnus started to ask.
"Yes." Brandon stated.
"Well, it took them long enough to figure it out... You think they'll be life-mates? Wait, hold on... I need to check my data on their mating habits." Magnus said, wandering off and pressing buttons on his Pokedex, the analytical breeder's side of him taking over.

It was close to sunset. The group of trainers were a mile outside of Violet City, and were making good progress. When they finally arrived at the Violet City Pokemon Center, Magnus checked the group in, and waited as their Pokemon were healed.

"Sounds good to me, Brandon." Magnus agreed. "But which should we do first? Personally, I think we should definitely train more before trying to take the Gym. Sprout Tower is a good place for that, I hear. The monks there are supposed to be Pokemon Trainers as well, and often battle with people climbing the tower."
"Actually, Aoife..." Magnus said to her. "I was thinking we could just take the stairs. Seems like that would be safe, don't you think?"
"Suuuure you did, Aoife..." Magnus said sarcastically. "It's agreed, then? We can attempt the tower tomorrow, and then the next day we can go to the Gym."
Magnus yawned slightly, and looked at his watch. It was only about 7:30 PM, but he was a bit tired.
"Well, I'm going to go ahead and get an early night." Magnus said to them. "Goodnight."
Magnus got up, went into one of the empty rooms and fell asleep.

As Magnus left the area, Duncan decided it was time for a walk, "Well I'm going out for a while, who else wants to come?"
Well, you're in town right now, so it doesn't matter. But no, that's not how Pokemon trainer battles work. This RP is a lot less arbitrary or silly than the games or anime. If anything, I'd have to say it's close to the Pokemon Special Manga(which I seriously need to read)...
Duncan left the Pokemon Center, releasing Houndour, allowing her to walk by him as he strode through the small city. A small wisp of breath escaped him, as he saw the Sprout Tower loom over him and the others. As he watched the windows lit up for the night, "It's truly a sight to behold isn't it?"
