Ha, ha, ha!

These guys are just looking to exploit a piece of tech, they don't care if Microsoft wants them there or not, I imagine.

Good on them. To anyone who won't buy Kinect anymore because of this: The fact that you're willing to part with $150 to grope a cloud of pixels is PATHETIC.
As opposed to shooting a cloud of pixels, talking to a cloud of pixels, and commanding a cloud of pixels, right? Not saying the porn isn't wrong (it isn't), but you have a serious double standard going on here, gamer.
Not so much. Kinect's too expensive and I'm not buying it.

But really, at least talking to or commanding a cloud of pixels gives you some sort of feedback that encourages continuation. With the porn games, you still have to get off yourself, and in the end you've replicated an experience you could have for free elsewhere.

Whats 12+ mean? Sorry, I'm not familiar with the European system as I am the ESRB and Japanese system. I'm assuming it means anyone who's over 12 can play (well, buy on their own) that game.
Yeah also my fault i just figure everyone knows. European rating is the age you are allowed to buy the game. We have a bit more different age brackets then the american rating system.

I just find it funny how some games get a M (17+) rating in america and you can buy then at 12+ in europe (mostly happens to games that shows a lot of T&A and not much more).

Most console companies try to steer away from AO rated games or that focusses on sex. Sometimes they do slip past (as someone linked the leisure suit larry game(frikking awful btw)).

Haha, another funny joke. I hate to say this, but this is a chance for kinect to hit puberty early. I have no interest in porn games, but are they going to turn around and try to say they have to OK everything their special "controller" does? I have seen the videos of the guy who has been working on using Kinect to control his character in Minecraft. Is that the end of that too?

These are all just stepping stones to the video game programmers understanding it better and therefore knowing how to utilize it better.

On the other hand, Microsoft I am sure hates the modding community as a whole. Darn shame, so much good stuff comes with the bullshit.

Don't you know, American society is puritanical in nature. So killing, murdering, and grinding enemy bones into dust is acceptable, but it's not wholesome and good to think about naughty time with your lady friends.

Yeah,I know what you mean about the AO games. I mean, the only AO games i can think of are Postal and those japanese H-anime, hentai game things. So its not exactly a good record to have AO for anything.

But I dontk now, I looke dup the game to see the ratings and see if i could find a link to yhe European rating system's main site and it said in other parts of Europe its rated for 16 and 17 year olds.

The PR alone would be murder.
Yeah. I can't exactly blame Microsoft. They would stand to lose a metric shit-ton of sales if word got out to the 'Concerned Mothers' that you could do that with Kinect. Because people are idiots, and can't tell the difference from a hack and unauthorized 3rd party software from actual software you can get anywhere. Just look at the whole Hot Coffee fiasco.

I see this as just them having the chance when they release their "pornect" to say "Yeah, you think Mircosoft had something, well ours is better. ANd its Got PORN!"
Yeah right. I'm sure a good chunk of Kinect buyers are parents who aren't as well informed as to what goes on in the industry as the rest of us. You know, the same people who thought Mass Effect was a sex simulator.

You put boobs anywhere near casual games, and sales are going to tank.

And not to mention all the bare breasts in Dante's Inferno that I won't post here.
They authorized a game with satan's dick. Their argument is irrelevant.

Got to say, I don't see the attraction to buying this porn game anyway. Sex with a girl on a screen vs sex with a real one, are not even close to the same thing. I don't think I'd buy it even for the novelty value. That said, my entire games library is just one massive bloodbath, with Fable II being probably the least violent game I own, so I don't see how MS can get away with this statement.

edit; Actually, the least violent is Portal, but thats the only non combat game I have.

No one at Microsoft thought this would happen or if they did they weren't being serious enough with their warnings.

You know, you could just watch porn while groping at air to get the exact same experience that game would offer.

This is like trying to fight gravity. Make all the bold statements you want, but in the end you will be its *****.

Or, as many examples have already been provided ITT, you're already its ***** and are merely being a hypocrite about it, which is about par for the course with Microsoft PR efforts I guess.
