Microsoft responded to ThriXXX's demo and other Kinect porn games in a statement that reads: "This isn't the first example of a technology being used in ways not intended by its manufacturer, and it won't be the last. Microsoft did not authorize or license its technology for this use. Xbox is a family friendly games and entertainment console and does not allow Adults Only (AO) content to be certified for use on its platform, and would not condone this type of game for Kinect."
In regards to the bolded bit (and this is directed at Microsoft):
Family friendly, huh? Meaning your your games can be played by anyone of any age? BULLSHIT! You can claim casual gamer status all you want Microsoft, but I have three titles that will blow the "family friendly" argument clear out of the water:
Halo 3,
Gear of War 2,
Dead Rising. Seriously, you're going the same route as Nintendo by abandoning your core demographic in favor of people who before now couldn't be arsed to even look at a game console, much less play one, and this is not a good road for you since you don't happen to have the safety net of Shigeru Miyamoto to keep our respect.

[sub]Forgive me if I seem a touch more venomous than usual. I just lost an eBay aution on an antique Griswold pan, so I'm not happy, and this is just adding to my bad mood.[/sub]
I concur fully with your positively valid expression of discontent!
"Family Friendly" is what has spurred me away from Nintendo, and Microsoft is already nauseating me with its waning attention towards expansion of unique IPs and tunnel-vision pandering towards those who are too lazy to join a gym or want a $3-400 piece of hardware to play games better suited to cell phones. And if you notice, Microsoft
has been changing stripes, what with the stagnation of maintaining primarily the few IPs and little else but diving into the Kinexploitation of "casual" markets.
I find it disheartening to witness this "Family Friendly (FF)" prioritization that attempts to hide the latent, mature 360 content that already exists by burying what I would call the "Real games" that made me personally want a 360 in the first place. To exemplify this, Microsoft has thus far illustrated one use for the Kinect, and by extension the Xbox 360, this Holiday Season: The hardware in question is really a Wii Fit come too late. It is a shallow "As Seen On TV!" device on par with the Ab Lounge/Circle/Luxury Recliner...
Hypocrisy aside[footnote]Gears of War 3 has, amongst other things, animations to beat an enemy to death with their own limb or stab them in the stomach with a flamethrower and incinerate them from the inside. That type of (awesome) actually has to have a restraining order from the phrase "Family Friendly."[/footnote], the sex game in question just seems rather pointless and a bit disturbing; what can possibly be gained by feeling up the
air?!? With the sentiments above, though, I suppose anything,
anything Mature is almost,
almost refreshing. But what do I find particularly amusing? Mature content or not, Kinect
still is not being used for an action-driven "Real Game" more like Gears of War.
And now that I keep rambling, this gets me thinking: Kinect Chainsaw duels? [sub]But more likely we will first see Kinect Air Guitar...[/sub]
